This class was not one of particular interest to me, but it came to be after being in her class! She is a kinda, brillant, and excellent teacher; I learned tons in her class- teaching style is superb! It isn't a cake walk, do the work and get an A! You get what you work for in this class, it's really up to you. ECred available. Go to class!

Dr. Scharff is an awesome teacher, if you like structure, and she uses all the time she has. Her exams come from her notes (which you must write) and read the book. The final is comprehensive & isn't bad it comes from previous questions & is general information, not as specific in detail like her normal exams.

This is probably the best prof I've had in college. She is an exceptional teacher, exceptionally intelligent, and exceptionally helpful and non-judgmental. However, DON'T TAKE HER IF YOU'RE NOT DISCIPLINED! Go to class, always. Do the work, make an A. Don't and fail. But if you want to learn, she's the teacher for you.

In retrospect "I" could have done better in this HARD class. She is a great teacher and ALWAYS asked if we understood or if she needed to explain it in a different way. This is a UNIVERSITY people and not high school. Boo Hoo she makes me actually work and do homework...Grow up! Just remember that college is not for everyone.

i took her for intro to psychology and she was very nice and good looking. u have to keep good notes, but they r easy. she gives u so much extra credit chances that it is funny. the assignments r realy easy and quick. i made a B in the class, but if i had just put a little more effort in the class, i would have had a A

She's a good teacher, but her tests are hard. Mostly short answer, and it's tough to learn the material in time for the tests. I managed to get out of the class with a "C". Like someone else said, there's a lot of BS work that you don't have time to do because you have to study. Overall she's a pretty good teacher if you can stand hw and cramming.

I love her. She is so helpful and nice. I take her for anything possible. However, it is not a easy class and requires a lot of studying. Gives chapter tests..almost one a week. Be prepared to work for a C. But you will learn more in this class than anyother.

Scharff gives you so much b/s work...papers...all kinds of h/w and stupid expirements that you have to do. Its all a waste of time and you have no time to study for tests. DO NOT EVER TAKE HER!!

She is super nice, and the demonstrations are fun, plus the time goes by fast so its not really boring. Test, u need to study, and there is lots of reading but if u do the work you'll pass easy and tons of extra credit

She is very nice, but gives a LOT of writing assignments. If you don't enjoy writing...don't take her. However, her writing assignments aren't hard at all, and her tests are fairly easy. Study your concept charts and skim the chapter before tests...
