Very nice lady, but talks very quietly and slowly. Took a lot just to stay awake. As long as you read the book and understand what you're reading, you will be fine.

She writes down EVERYTHING in neat cursive, and she's very systematic. Tests allow a cheat card. Some material is easy and some is hard. As long as you write an example of each type of problem on the card it's not that hard, but still requires an honest effort. She comes to class 5min late & can let out early. May cancel class w/o notification.

Dr. Meaux's lectures are pretty boring (given, it is statistics), and her tests are not easy. The class is often hard to stay awake in, and the practice problems are not very helpful with regard to the test. The class is graded on three tests with no grade padding using homework or attendance. She seems nice enough, but the class was not enjoyable.

This professor is horrible from her lack of helpfullness, never returning emails, and ridiculous exams. With only 3 exams it leaves you no room for error. Expect 5 page exams that you won't be able to finish and NO partial credit given. Biology majors beware...take regular statistics. I'm disgusted my tuition went to someone like this.

Good teacher, explains everything well but speaks very quietly and can be hard to stay awake. in class examples are from book. homework not graded but will be considered in final grade. 3 tests with cheat sheet. easy even with low preparation.

Second test will destroy you if you don't prepare for it well. Book sucks (too much detail in trivial stuff, too little detail in difficult stuff, trying to save on paper too much), student solutions manual is hard to find, but there's a torrent out there for an older edition. Do your homework and turn it in at the end of the course. Good person.

Got out of class 30 minutes early each day. Homework is not required but will be used to decide on borderline grades. If you go to class the tests are extremely easy.

She does teach in a very simple way, but her tests are very difficult. The test are out of 30 points and she doesn't give quizzes or worksheets. She just talks constantly for the whole class period. It's hard to pay attention because you're trying to keep up with her zillions of notes. She tries to give a small curve at the end. Beware!
