Love him! He's one of the best probs at York. He truly cares about his students and is passionate about what he teachers. Totaly recommended for someone who has no science background. VERY FAIR...you study, you pass. His tests are m/c and are easy if you study. The text isn't used much but when it comes to exams, its important to know defintions.

He seemed like a nice enough guy but if your not good at m/c then this is not the prof for you. He taught our class for half the yr. and the entire mark was based on 2 tests: 1 worth 30% and the other 20%. The textbook was absolutely useless purchasing too...

Knowlegeable environmentalist. He makes his lecture quite simple so that it's easy to understand. Pretty much organized but his writing on a board is quite messy. Very proper and humorous. Might be a bit too old-fashioned style for teens.

WWWAAAYY enthusiastic about reptiles/amphibians. His sound effects were always amusing and kept me paying attention during morning classes. Tests were very doable...he doesn't use visual aids at all though, which would have been helpful when talking about specific species. Otherwise REALLY cool course I recommend it to anyone who likes animals.

i was so scared of taking a nats course since i suck in science but this professor made everything interesting and easy to understand...i wish all professors were like him...he is so approachable and one the nicest professors i have met...his sense of humor made the time go by fast...it was a pleasure being in his class.

I thought he was a very good prof...possibly easiest class I have taken! I dreaded having to take a NATS class but it was so easy; easy A. He is very funny and engaging, which made class enjoyable. He also basically tells you what will be on the exams, which are also easy because they are multiple choice. I highly recommend this class.

Unclear teaching method and lectures, NO course outline with week by week agenda, bought $100 book for nothing (we did not use the book), and exams had questions with material which he didn't even teach!! There's only so much he can clarify when you see him during his office hours;however, sometimes he made it even more confusing.No further comment

Possibly the worst professor I've had yet. He is so disorganized, and completely makes up his lectures as he goes along. He mumbles a lot, his handwriting stinks, expects more on tests than he can cover in lecture, and he is anything but professional when it comes to grade assignment. He wrote our final exams at the last minute and then photocopied

awesome prof, has a great sense of humor, lectures are interesting and he tries his best to make sure you understand the material.The exams are pretty straightforward make sure you u pay special attention to his notes, he's a fair grader, overall i give him an "A"
