Worthless; this man should be fired. I'm appalled that this is what passes for education. Lawrence Rhyne could single-handedly cost SDSU their AACSB accreditation. He speaks in a monotone voice, reads from the PPT, repeats his anecdotes in every class session because he forgets that he told you already, and lets the class go early every day.

What an inadequate course. Participation during group presentations is absurd. you have to ask 3 questions or you don't get full credit, and there's a time limit. 75 questions, while only 20 are useful. Some people don't know when to hang them up. Terrible professor. Terrible, redundant class.

Had him first for 460 bc I thought he would be easy (got a B in that class). But I sure did make a mistake in getting him again!! He is SUPER boring, lacks giving detailed instructions, and is very vague on what he wants in presentation/paper. Also, make sure to get in a group with hardworking students or else you'll be crying like I did.

pretty easy class. two tests on his powerpoints, pretty easy. 1 group presentation and analysis paper. if you get good groups this wont be too hard but still a lot of work. 1 final. boring but worth taking.

Class got worse as time went on. He is extremely unclear on his criteria for group assignments, which is more than half your grade. Very nitpicky with grading group papers and presentations. Tests are pretty easy if you read the book, and lecture is pointless but he takes attendance every time. No curve except for with participation

Mandatory attendance and group projects are 60% of your grade. Do not buy the book waste of time the two test are only worth 25% of your grade. Get ready for one of the most boring lectures you will ever attend reads directly from the slide and if you attend his third class of the day is bored with the information as well

Summer class: Pretty easy, don't get book. Take your papers and presentations to him before their due and have him fix it to get an A. 2 tests straight from powerpoints: lots of definitions. Papers are a 10 person group one thats 5 pages double spaced and a 30 min presentation with same group.

Pretty easy class during the summer. I think Fall/Spring have more work. Don't need the expensive book. Go to class and get points. Tests are common sense, group work is easy with 10 people in your group. Hardest part is listening to boring lectures. Take it.

He is soo adorable! =) This class is soo easy, DO NOT BUY THE BOOK! I made that mistake, trust me you only need it to read a case study so just borrow someone else's!!! His powerpoints are straight from the book and that's exactly what the tests are based off so just use those to study. Go to every class for points; he lets you out early =)

Larry is such a nice guy. Here's the key to this class, the reading are what the quizzes are based on. You leave really early all the time, so you can "work on your group project". Make sure you have a good group. I know its hard to do, but thats big. Larry is very helpful and will always give you a chance. Great class!

He doesn't care....And he needs to retire. Business Plan is important for all entrepreneurs and business majors. He makes it so boring that you will walk out with nothing. Need a new professor for this course...

Knows his stuff, albeit the powerpoints are somewhat droll. However, he is willing to help you as long as you show up and are willing to learn. Finally, I would recommend anyone reading this take the class in summer. There is no final paper at the end.

The class is a waste of time, but he checks attendance and made class participation 15% of the grade. All the info you need for the tests you can get from reading the chapter summaries for both books. Boring, didn't seem like he cared about the class. Project can be fun if you have good teammates (which you'll need, groupwork is worth a lot).

This class is so boring! I personally think it's not quite useful though... Anyhow, the class is considered not so tough (all group works) and not so stressed. I just wonder some students and I just got B+ while others who took the class last year said that it's probably the easiest class to get A as long as we attend the class...

His class is really boring. His lectures are straight from the slides. He has 3 group projects, so i suggest that u get a good group right from the start. If you're short on sleep... just attend class. he takes roll every class and actually has a seating chart(which i've never heard of since high school).

He was assigned this class a few days before it started (in his defense). Nice guy, boring lecturer, 1980s information.

He is a nice guy, but he is not a very good teacher. The "real-life" textbook cases are OLD, thus don't expect learning something from solving them. His straight-out-of the-textbook lectures are BORING! Not falling asleep is a challenge. I don't think I learned something of real value from his class. Try this course with another professor.

This class was a lot more work than it was worth...and you learn nothing. Lectured straight from the book; gave the same real-life examples over and over; took attendance and marked you down for "participation"...no matter what you said; little explanation as to what he wanted or how he graded. Want an OK grade and learn nothing??? Take him.

Thank God I am finished with this course. Now I can die happily knowing I got Porter's 5 forces down. Seriously, the MOST useless class and MOST boring lecturer EVER. 4 worthless group projects and 16 worthless weeks later you will probably get a B+/A-. Don't get any of the books because he doesn't use them. I can't believe this was graduate level!

What a waste of a class...learned nothing new...this professor should be retired. If you show up (he takes attendance each class) and do simple group projects, you will get an A...without really learning anything.
