Comment:

Lealle is knowledgeable and passionate, but she is sometimes feisty, opinionated and disorganized in her lectures. The course involves a lot of reading, but the readings provide great insight through real life examples and further academic research. She incorporates weekly discussion sessions, and gives very good feedback. Participation is key!

Comment:

Lealle's lectures are interactive and informative. She readily adapted class discussion to suit student interests/current events (textbook is a little dated). It's structured similar to women's studies but with more theory. Take notes on how she says the feminist theories relate to each other for the final! Will give extensions if asked in advance.

I would say that she is the best political science lecturer at Langara. Very enthusiastic professor. Very interesting and engaging class. Just get ready to read A LOTS!

She is a good prof, engaging, clearly passionate about the subject matter. My only criticism is that she refuses to use any online content, which is incredibly frustrating... Other than that she's great.

Lealle is, without question, one of the best teachers you will have the fortune of learning from. She is engaged, fiery, inspiring, thoughtful, compassionate, and encourages her students to be the same. She genuinely cares about what she's teaching. You will hang on her every word- trust me. I would repeat this class in a heartbeat.

Lealle is a great prof. She is very knowledgable and clear on what she expects from the class. Her feedback is helpful and she truly wants to see her students succeed. Definitely not an easy A, but taking her class is a good choice.

The best prof I've had. Lealle is crazy smart. Do the readings and even if you don't understand them she'll go through all the concepts thoroughly in class. She is really knowledgeable about feminism and politics, and makes everything relevant and interesting when you're talking about theory. She's a fair marker and very approachable.

A nice, friendly and witty professor. She always gives very entertaining and yet sophisticated lectures. Tons of readings per week. Her only downside might be the fact that she is one of the toughest graders at Langara, but she also gives a lot of good feedbacks.

Seriously the best teacher I've ever had, witty, funny and engaging. She knows her stuff and you need to work for your grade but her lectures are not difficult to pay attention to. Highly recommended!

Lealle's lectures are a reason to take this course in itself! She is a very engaging prof who always makes what could be a very dull course to some into a course that everyone should take. She is a very understanding prof who will give you an extension on the term paper (if you let her know in advance!) Having said this, the course is not an easy A

Brilliant. Great to speak with during office hours. If you want to do well in her class, go in with an open mind. Don't argue in lecture but ask questions during office hours. Go to ALL lectures and discussion. Do ALL the readings. Have a positive attitude. She comes of as intimidating because of her sharpness and intelligent but is a sweet heart.

Awesome prof. Lots of reading. must come to class and pay attention, but she is makes the material interesting. She always throws in jokes to keep things light. She is accessible after class and tells you a date you are able to ask for an extension until. I didn't use text book but would of been helpful.. Still got a high B.

Lealle is my favourite professor yet! Every lecture is interesting, fast paced and filled with valuable information. She talks fast so be ready to take fast notes. I was apprehensive in taking a feminism class however this class was the most valuable one I have taken on women hood and the female experience and how it connects to political life.

Lealle is an amazing professor! She is inspirational, her lectures are always engaging and you will learn lots. She marks hard but in helpful way. Everything she marks she gives back with detailed notes to help you learn and do better next time. I found her feedback valuable for all my classes. If you work for it you can get an A.

Take her class if you enjoy learning the content of the subject. She genuinely cares about student's academic performance and always transform dry materials into interesting lectures. However, don't expect to grab an easy A - because you must put a fair amount of effort into it.
