Comment:

She is a nice person in general but don't get on her bad side. She isn't very clear with what she wants for the papers. The biggest down side is that there is no rubric and she doesn't seem to have standards for grading. She can be rude especially if someone doesn't agree with her. Not open to criticism. I feel she shouldn't be a college professor.

Comment:

Mrs. Rautbort is the nicest little old lady at Oakland. You should take her class. Just show up and contribute to class conversation and she will love you. By no means is she a hard grader, but it can be tough to have a perfect essay at a 4.0.... 3.5's and up if you put any sort of effort into it and the workload is not anything much.(WRT 150, 160)

Unbelievable professor. She is always there for each and every one of her students and is the nicest professor I have ever had. She was variable for me and always listened to the students opinions. I loved every second in her class and i would 100% recommenced taking her for any of her classes if you have the chance.

It's my first year at Oakland University and she has to be the best professor I've had so far!! I love her. She is a great professor and so cute. She gives great opportunities to definitely succeed in her class such as doing journals, and she'll talk the whole hour but you'll still get credit of course. just show up to class and do ALL the papers!

Leba is such a sweet woman! Her content is a little dry and we barely used the book, but I'm glad I bought it since I needed it for 160 anyway. Overall, the work I did was not worth the 3.0 I got in the course. My effort level should have been a 1.5 or so. But she's really great to get along with. Just show up to class, and write the papers.

She is a very good professor she really helped me fix my essays that I wrote for my liberal-studies course/writing 160 course and she made my essays look more clearer and strong. I would definitely recommend this professor to anybody who needs help with their writing.

There comes a time when elderly professors need to retire. She is one of them. If you're a good writer, you'll be fine but I do not recommend her. You have to practically scream for her to hear you and precisely explain in terms she'll understand you're thoughts or questions. Way to much time spent on 'Kumbaya'-like circle discussions.

The best and easy professor. We do journals once a week. Make sure keep journals with you all time. We have total of 5 papers including journal responses. There is online assignments on every friday. The are two books are required. One of them is The World is Blue by S. Earle. We don't read all of the book. We pick one chapter to read and pick important facts from the chapter. We talk in groups a lot and some times as a class. The best English professor I ever had. You must take her for WRT 150

she is honestly the best teacher iv ever had! she has taught me more than any other has, and she is really understanding if your no the best writer. she also gives you a good amount of time to do the papers. i would highly suggest taking her class. im upset that u cant have her for every class.

The class itself was super easy. If you know anything about writing you will do just fine, and you get to make up two papers. The prof. on the other hand is the most annoying screechy old woman i've ever had and is not very fun to deal with if you have her for a morning class. Other than that the class really wasnt bad at all.

She is a nice Jewish lady. I explained to her I needed a 3.0 in the class & would not get that due to an extra absence (you get .1 taken off your score). She ended up giving me that 3.0. I am thankful for that. Otherwise, she isn't always that nice. She didn't have much faith in me at all. I wouldn't recommend, but if you do have her, you'll be ok!

Great professor! The class was extremely easy. There was 5 papers and about 18 journals that counted as a paper to makeup your grade. You get to redo two papers which was good. I would recommend her to everyone.

She is a very good teacher, and does her best to help you with your work. "The circle" may not be the most fun thing, but she tries to help you help yourself. I got a 3.7 and barely had to work for it. If you need help with your paper, don't be afraid to ask her because she's always willing to help. Bonus: No homework, just essays.

She really isn't so bad...but u have to show up to class...do your papers LIKE she expect you too...basically you need to follow her style, otherwise youll get a bad grade. Theres a lot of class discussion....i wasnt fond of the whole circle thing. shes a nice lady and basically if she likes you...you'll do fine. i ended up with a 3.8 in there.
