This teacher makes up his own vocabulary for statistics does not go by book. I sat with another STATS teacher in tutoring & we reviewed the homework. She said it was correct and I understood it from her reviewing it. Turned in the homework- He gave me a 20-out of 40 with no explanations. had class of 25 enrolled now down to 5. HORRIBLE!!!

Professor Witt made stats as easy as it could have been. Most of the classes consist of him lecturing, but if you show up, take notes and put in effort you should have no problems. He always let us use a double-sided page of notes for exams, and he lets you know exactly what you'll be tested on. one of the best profs I've ever had.

Great teacher. Very old school and lectures on the whiteboard. Uses plenty of examples to demonstrate problems. Did not need the book that much. Funny guy. Homework can be lengthy but is very easy if you take notes in class. Very helpful and will answer any questions you have. 11/10 would have as professor again. I am bad at math and have an A.

This professor is old school--pauses lectures to write an important sentence on the board frequently. It's a hard lecture to sit through. The key in this class: mimic the professor. When he provides solutions to examples, copy that sentence down and use it in all following homework and tests.

I could of never showed up to class and passed with an A. I did not learn one thing from this class. We only had four assignments the whole year including the final exam. If you ask for help on the group project he told all of us, to read it again, the information is there. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE HIM.

I had the WORSTE experience with this professor. I am a 3.8 GPA student and this is the first class that I failed. When you have a problem with your grading good luck getting ahold of him, because he ignores emails on purpose.

Very monotone which made the info hard to learn. When students asked for help, he would make a joke about it then keep talking about what he was talking about without answering the question. Quizzes and tests were reasonable, but the homework was very difficult, mainly because if you worded anything wrong half the points were deducted. Hard grader

Worst teacher at DU. Does not explain lectures properly, makes the class seem like its a rocket science class by not using the textbook. Does not explain due dates properly and give the absolute worst feedback when trying to ask for help.

had him for a 3 hour night class. took half an hour to come up with car names for an example one night. problems on the white board become storiesparagraphs and aren't helpful. you'll never need your book. he doesn't help unless you beg for it. he's monotone and we only did 13 of the assignments required for the course becuz he wasn't organized.

Very dry and boring which made the 1 1/2 hour class terrible! Tried explaining the material, but ends up going on and on until every student is confused. You can submit homework early to get comments from him so you can fix them before the due date, but sometime the homework is scheduled too close for that to work. He takes forever to grade work.

Great class, tells lots of jokes make the work more fun. homework can be early submitted for pre grading which helps. tests as well. will make you learn just wont give you the answer.

Horrible teacher. Very unclear directions. Homework and tests are basically impossible to do considering he does not go over the info needed in class. Also no information is from your book... the only reference I have :( TERRIBLE TEACHER! Lets all write letters to the dean to get him fired! Worst teacher I've ever had!

He was an extremely intelligent individual who always had great examples. I had him for two math classes, and he simplified things so nicely. He has a funny sense of humor too.
