I LOVED LB! She is such a sweetheart and truly cares about her students. Totally understanding if things come up. As long as you put in the work, you will do fine in the class. And go to her office hours. 10/10 would recommend.

She's a super nice lady but she's very confusing. I would definitely recommend if you are a creative writer and want to expand on your writing skills. I wouldn't recommend for a first English class, just because of the way she teaches.

This class is was simply write a paper, grade it, that is your grade. Seriously, you write a 5-9 page paper she grades it and then puts it in the grade book. No test. This can either be really good or this can be really bad. And GRAMMAR is a huge thing for this professor!

If you think you can pull a night before paper, you won't pass this class. Period. The woman is great, but grades so tough. Nothing is online, so you're kinda blind. But, there are only 3 papers, no final. I'm one week away from finals and you could go from a F to an A (vise versa) still because only half the points are in?? lol You'll love her tho

DO NOT TAKE! I am an A student that works hard for grades and I ended up with the lowest grade ever. LB is polite, but is an extremely tough when it comes to grading. Often times her grading never made sense. She does offer extra credit, but I never knew my grade because the entire semester she never once uploaded grades to BB!! DO NOT RECOMMEND

LB is fantastic. She is tough but that drives you to make something meaningful rather than just what is needed. Really interesting class discussions. She seems like a genuinely cool person who has a passion for she does.

LB is a great person and I like her life lessons when she gets off track in class, but that is one of her weaknesses. She gets off track easily and I often did not feel like I was in an English class. It is hard to keep track of what is going on. Tough grader and the criteria for assignments is not clear. Nice women, but I would not take her again.

LB is GREAT! I love her passion for the novel As I Lay Dying. Although her grading is a bit tough, it is clear about what she expects from you in her class. You definitely receive the grade that you work for in her class. She also offers extra credit for on campus lectures that you attend with a paper submission (back of syllabus). TAKE HER

L.B. was probably my favorite professor last semester. She could be a bit confusing at times, but she would always ask if everyone understood what she was saying and would clarify if not. Not going to lie, I left her class a couple times with my mind blown. Always willing to stay after class to help any students that had questions. Take her!

Shes a wonderful lady very passionate about what she believes in! After taking her for eng101 i loved her, thinking 201 must be cake but no everything was fine until the final its a group project and a long paper shes not very clear on the instructions and if we make one mistake on the paper we get a zero!!!! not to mention a presentation

A wonderful teacher. Her passion for her work and students are blatantly clear. I loved her class and was never hesitant about going. She was so supportive to all of my ideas and helped them bloom to enhance my work. I wish I could take the class again. Five stars, no questions asked.
