Dr. Donald was an amazing teacher. I am not an anthro student, but his approach to the material made me feel at ease. He is a fair marker, but the tests are definately more challenging than the written assignment.

Dr Donald makes a very boring course as interesting as it could possibly be. He is engaging and clear in his points. He gives you lots of exercises and assignments to practice the methods that he teachs. Midterm and final harder than expected but term paper (10-12 pages) and assignments are much easier. Go to class and study and you'll do well.

He has read it all, digested and gives you a great insight about the history and the theory of anthropology. You learn more stuff in 70 minutes than you would do in five hours yourself. He is not boring at all. He just does not make unnecessary jokes. Not for reality TV fans.

I don't like his class being at 8:30 AM... but he seems to know his stuff. The assignments are pretty good, although the tests can be tricky. Then again, the course itself is pretty dry so I guess he does what he can.
