I had him for 201 and 213, both in spring semester. I wasn't really looking forward for the classes but his lectures are really interesting and engaged me right away! Great sarcasm, very objective. You'll never find out "what he is" because he teaches each ideology as if he supports it. Exam formats are easy but he can be a strict marker.

Really an expert. Articulation is exceptional. Honest about what he can't pull from memory. Not easy though. The term paper topics seem straight forward enough until you try to write it (not 1st yr). Sarcastic and contemporary--an excellent combination. Examples are totally on point and make you go, "oh". Not an easy course, but take it.

Great prof, great sense of humor. Does a great job of making the subject seem interesting. I really don't get all the accusations of him being biased one way or the other. That is, unless you're an absolutely crazy, extreme, cartoon character-esque liberal or conservative.

I can't understand how he can be labbled as both a left wing socialist and a far right winger by different people. I found him to be very moderate. Very knowledgeable on what he lectures and I thought he graded pretty easy. Althought if you take his class try not to be to creative and out of the box for your paper. But over all good Prof.

STOP! If you're reading thing DO NOT REGISTER with LEN WILSON. This socialist **** does not teach. He tries so ****ing hard to be funE but is not. His essay markers are ****ing horrific. I spend 12+ hours on my paper. Guess what i got! No just guess. Guess again an F! I got 40% on God Damn essay i tried at! I advice do not take at all costs!

For those who complain about Wilson's marking, in 200 level classes the essay marking is done by grad students, who are notorious for harder (and more arbitrary) marking than the profs. As for Wilson, he is hilarious, and a great prof. Very engaging, very funny.

Len Wilson is awesome. He gives hilarious lectures. As for a lot of reading, don't bother, I didn't and I got an A. He is a hard marker for essays so a) work hard and b) dont' worry about it because he doesn't weigh them that high. His tests are DAMN easy.
