Dr. Craig taught the core honours Political Science courses at the U of A, and I took all of them. Yes, he taught from a Straussian perspective and, yes, eventually he expected agreement with his views (but only after four years in my case) but I learned more from him than from most of my other professors put together. He was a brilliant lecturer.

He's a duy-yuy. The natural resources in Alberta are owned by Canada. The entity that from coast to coast has sent its sons and daughters to defend those resources and defend our collective right to benefit from their use and export. You want a reason why Alberta should stay in Canada, you dont have a choice. That's why.

Prof Craig is a brilliant and good prof. The stuff about him being hard on those who disagree with him is crap.My papers have challenged his positions and gotten A's. The problem is in proving his positions wrong as they are usually very well though out. you just can't BS even a bit with this guy.

Prof. Craig is a radical thinker and giving him a chance will be enlightening - but it will expose you to questions you may never have asked yourself. It is actually a very personal course, it is introspective as much as it is about a dialogue with the great thinkers of the past.
