I'm sitting here a week before finishing his God forsaken class, and I don't even know if I'm passing or failing cause he hasn't posted any grades after we've asked him to repeatedly! His teaching style is trash! His tests are incredibly hard, he doesn't even review them, and keeps them. He's rude, and his handwriting is looks like cave paintings.

Stokes is literally the worst professor at Siena. He is extremely unclear with what he wants from you and acts as if you can read his mind. He makes inappropriate and derogatory jokes - which maybe could be tolerable if they had anything to do with accounting. He spent THREE WEEKS going over the syllabus and a rubric. Avoid taking him at all costs.

I had this professor a year ago for Intermediate Accounting and he was the best accounting teacher at Siena. Extremely helpful and fair grader. I would choose him over the other accounting professors for 305!

Stokes was probably one of the best accounting professors I have taken. As long as you read the text and go to his office hours, you should do well in the class. At first it may seem like a lot of work, but if you get through the bulk of it you will do fine. He curves your grade according to how the rest of the class does on tests and assignments.

Remember that Intermediate Accounting is Really boring and if your not an accouting major its useless. But its not Stokes Fault. I went to class half in the bag all the time, and he thought it was great. Tests are hard but if you actually go to class, participate, and study like students should you'll be fine. I got an A- so its not hard

Whoever did the last post is obviously on stokes? johnson or just high on pcp. he's the worst teacher iv EVER had If you have t&a then maybe your good, but if not good luck Dude just does not care about teaching, more into his ego and make sure you look over your tests cause he has a hard time correcting them correctly He also writes like a toddler

For a school that charges more than average for tuition and a school that makes finance majors take accounting classes that most schools dont, im amazed how terrible the accounting teachers are. Stokes writes in a hyrogliphics and goes over stuff in class that you dont need to know and WONT be on the tests that noone scoresover a 60 on. quit stokes

LEN STOKES is the worst teacher EVER! Answers questions with questions, horribly mean, and is always making you feel stupid. Blames the students when his test grades are in the 40s and 50s. I had to take him and would have rather graduated late than take him. Can without a doubt say he was the worst teacher I have had in my entire life

Stokes is not as bad as some people make him out to be. He is friendly as long as you can handle some slight dry humor. His pendmanship is awful and at times he is confusing but just keep asking questions until you know what is going on. He WILL take the time to answer them.

Well, for all of you that have heard, Stokes is awful. The best advice I can give is to not take him if you're a full-time student. Be warned, workin' your ass off will get you a C. A's are almost impossible to get in his class.

Acct 305 was pretty hard but if you just take the time to talk to him outside of class he's great at explaining things. Also you have to do all of the assignments because thats what he goes over in class. Otherwise class is a waste. 490 is the best class I have taken at Siena.
