This class is good for future musicologists, but is required for all music majors at this university. The kind of details that this professor obsesses over are not very usefull for musicians. He assumes you already know the big picture. This class may turn me away from performing music.

Fantastic concerts of music from India, China, Iran, etc. No textbook is required (only a "syllabus"), so attend classes and take notes. It's not a difficult class if you attend regularly. Good instructor!
