We started with 30+ students now down to 12. worst professor ever! I followed the rubric and reviewed in class as well as the notes she put on my critiques and papers and still ended up with Ds, mind you I've taken other 200W+ classes and got As and Bs. My 2nd and 3rd rewrites also gotten Ds. I enjoy THR but not after this class...

Horrible prof, taking her class now n she is miserable. She has such a passion for theatre and fail to realize some take her class for the W credit. She is VERY mean, expects u to respond to questions in her words, like theatre is the only subject in the world. A LOT of hw, exams are hard. Started with 30 people now we have 12 left in the class.

Terrible professor. Very strict about bathroom breaks, chewing gum, tardiness...etc. I bought 7 books for her class, then had to buy a $70 "untext" which was her notes printed out. She expects you to speak the theatre lingo and gets very upset when you don't. Lots and lots of homework. I spent 6-10hrs a week doing her homework. Terrible instructor!

Only take her class if you have a passion for theater. I didn't, and ended up dropping this class because she is an extremely tough grader and nothing seems to please her. She does not know what she wants on the essays and is not clear. She favors the theater majors, but that is okay. They will be serving me coffee in 5 years.

she was very condescending, rude, nothing pleased her at all, too tough of a grader. she was sarcastic, but not in a playful way, she was pretty wITCHY... i hated this teacher more than any others. and I actually did well in the class, that's saying something. AVOID HER!!!

This class is AWFUL! She makes you BUY your own tickets to go see plays on your own time and then write critiques about them. She is extremely unclear about assignments and often hands them back not grading them at all b/c she says you missed the point. It's also deathly boring.

WORST TEACHER EVER. doesnt grade easily, even when you obviously put it hard work. she is so rude to everyone in class, i run from my prior class and make it a minute or 2 past time. and she marks me late and yells at me, hate her.

Professor Wilkonsin is a TOUGH grader but participation is EVERYTHING!!! I failed most of her papers but its ok because she saw that i was trying she is very helpful u just have to read the material. She comes off as mean because she is passionate about theater...id take her again

AVOID THIS TEACHER!!!!! she is so mean & rude. i literally just withdrew from her class. i took this as my W and big mistake. you aren't allowed to chew gum, you can't come late to class or she'll give you the death stare, her grading is unfair & horrible, she yells & gives an attitude all the time. I've never seen her smile. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS!

Ok... for a 100 class, very difficult. I took this class as a W and she makes you write a TON! But she makes class really interesting and the papers are relatively easy, a lot of opinion stuff based on the novels. She will help you with anything you need- not as bad as i thought based on reviews. I'd take it again.

Very frustrating! She is not all that clear about assignments. She talks down to the class as if we are in high school. As a person, she is very nice. She does help you if and only if you go to see her. You need all the books/plays which are so time consuming to read. Tons of homework- i think she thinks her class is the only class on campus.

This professor is tough but only when it comes to following her rules. If you do the readings (so you know what you're talking about when she calls on you) and just don't chew gum in class you'll easily pass. Professor Wolff-Wilkinson is a tough grader, but she does have respect and compassion for those students who try and put forth an effort to do well in her class. Despite her toughness, she knows her theater and by the end of the semster you leave her knowing alot more about theater.

I've had her twice and I have much respect for her. If you want an easy class look somewhere else cause she makes you work. She is a complete theatre lover and does not respect those that lack respect for her or her profession. Kids, this is not a bird course if you wanna work then she is the best teacher for it.

She does make you buy a lot of books. I think i brought ten and a tyco booklet. She grades really tough for a theatre teacher. She red inked my paper everytime. Has a high ego and hates to be wrong. Don't even show up late for class. You will get a mean glare. I regerstered late for her class and she counted my two add and drop days against me. Bad

All I have to say, you better have alot of $$ on you because you have to buy a TYCO packett along with 8 other books. Seems like she's very into her area but if you want to save a bundle do not take this class. Its for your safety.
