She's really good at making art and architecture interesting to those who wouldn't otherwise like it. Make sure you get all of her short writing assignments done on time and that you take some good notes, although her powerpoints are available online. Show up to class as that's the easiest method of learning her material.

Very hard grader! Nitpicks all your mistakes and regardless if you feel you have an understanding of the material, if you can't eloquently portray that in your writing, automatic low grade. Also picks favorites and caters to them. Also, very busy outside of class, hard to meet with.

I have had her for four classes and she is my favorite professor at F&M. She is extremely helpful and seems hard to approach when you are first entering her classes, but after you establish a relationship you can see how committed she is to her students.

Def. one of the hardest teachers, never worked so hard on a paper, however once you've done a class with her, not only is it rewarding but you'll be able to take any class in college. Don't slack on the readings, and write down everything she saids in lecture to use during the exams and such and you'll do fine.

Smart but not cool. Waaay too much reading, and she thinks our lives center on the deterioration of Lancaster, and we (the students) somehow have the ability to fix it but are not sharing it with her. Weird assignments and a completely useless class.
