Linda is a great teacher. Dont take this class if you have not taken a ceramics class before. I've taken 4 classes before, and actually learned new techniques. Shes so nice and helpful. Attendance is important. If you dont try neither will she.

Linda Mau is an excellent teacher of ceramics. She strikes me for working with students all the time, giving honest opinions and very helpful tips. She is great!

Comment:

She's great! Friendly, approachable, clear, understanding and allows room for much creativity. I learned how to make a lot of cool useful things in this class. Even if you are awful at wheel throwing, if you are there every day she will notice and appreciate your efforts. I will definitely take her again in the Fall.

Very well prepared - clear explanations, good demos, very helpful and encouraging. Room for creativity, but insists on completing assignments and making progress. Little patience for whiners!

Wonderful teacher, really can explain basics & offers lots of personal help. stresses creativity. Lots of more experienced students in class help also. Would/will take her again when schedule permits.

This was the stupidest art class ever. I dropped it after 3 weeks because it was all middle aged women who had taken the course 3 times already. Mau catered to the older, experienced women and was very bad at explaining things to the new people.
