Comment:

She's really great and understanding, just make sure you ask questions if you have any, even if you think it's stupid. She never judges you and is always willing to help. Be willing to discuss in class and make sure you read everything even though there is a lot to read usually. We also watch movies and discuss a lot in class so it's not all work.

Comment:

Dr. Maule can be very hard if you procrastinate. However, she will expect you to read a lot of material in a very unrealistic time frame. The final project in the class is fair and hard. Be prepared to work. What Dr. Maule needs to do is lighten the reading and focus her class. Not a bad class but not the best. A lot of work.

Dr. Maule is intelligent and offers great insight during lecture. You'll pass so long as you're present and do the homework, although she will mark you off for minor things. For our final projects, which required hours upon hours of work to complete, she offered no feed back with her grade. Often interrupts students when they share their opinions.

Arrogant left wing idiot. Absolutely of no use to any students! Plus she cowardly hides in her office instead instead of making time for students. She takes weeks to respond to emails. Never has time for student's concerns, either by email or office hours. All she cares about is bogus foundational studies, which don't get you a job!

Linda is a great professor with a strong interest in her students and her subject material. Though some may think she is "shoving" her views down their throat doesn't understand that you have to be open minded and willing to think outside of the box. I would highly recommend her to other students.

Had her for Ethics of Harry Potter. She's a very nice teacher and knows the series and ethical info that goes with it quite well. I was freaking out about our big paper and she gave me some good advice and set my mind at ease. My only complaint is that the paper and participation are literally the only grades for that class.

I really enjoy Dr. Maule as a professor. She must be an acquired taste. She kept the subject material interesting. Wasnt intense about her views. The assignments were fair. Quizzes were online. DO THE READING. Learned that the hard way. As long as you show up and read/do the work, you'll be fine. Linda really cares about everyone and will help you.

Worst teacher I have ever taken. Very unclear of what she wants. Took her for a 5 week online class. Expected us to do a project that is usually group and all semester by ourselves in 5 weeks. very confusing unrelated project. Also expected to use computer programs that we had zero experience with. did more work in a 100 level class then in a 500

This class is not in my major, and I took it originally as an "easy A". The content was a little more involved than I thought, but definitely a worthwhile class. You will fine tune your critical thinking skills, and learn how to express your views intelligently.Dr. Maule is fair, and open to any INTELLIGENT discussion of opinions. Great professor.

I don't think I have ever taken a class that numbed my brain and was so worthless. My classmates were ignorant and were rarely challenged. Maule took over mid semester after the other horrible prof quit(Lloyd)I have never felt this negatively toward a class in my life.I am thinking about leaving the major because of this class.Waste of $ and time
