Linda Reven can't teach. Unfortunately she is one of the most helpful, caring and accommodating professors in the chemistry department. However, like most professors, she lacks the ability to successfully transfer information onto students. The homework was fair as were the exams.

Very boring prof. Textbook is mandatory. Do every problem she assigns as the exams are the same exact questions for the most part. Didn't really learn a whole lot from lectures, she isn't in touch with the class very well. Over all disappointing. Avoid if possible.

Very monotone. Have a cup of joe before going to class because she will likely put you to sleep. In terms of material, she wasn't very effective at explaining the notes. However, she follows the textbook very closely. Fair exams and fair marker.

No point in going to class. Just read the book and you'll do fine. Honestly, there is no point in going to class. Her assignments are pretty easy but her midterm and final were somewhat difficult but not impossible.

Every day I would go home and read the book, do the problems and come to class understanding the material. Every day she would open her mouth and I would leave class VERY confused. This is the worst teacher I have ever had.
