Can be a bit intimidating at times but you will see that she is absolutely amazing. Fair grading criteria and very fair exams. Will teach you tax in a way that you have not learned in the undergrad. Extremely nice outside of class and very willing to help. Just do your homework and don't be stupid.

My only real complaint is she is very unapproachable. Hard to ask for help because she WILL make fun of you if she doesn't think it is a good question. I wanted to do well, but was too anxious to ask for clarification. Her short answer are a killer. Make sure you write down EVERYTHING she says about integration! Trust me.

she really thinks the assigned textbook is wrong, and so if you do the problems the way the book teaches- you're wrong. even though its the same book as tax 1 and 2. she cant control her emotions either and storms out of the room regularly and picks on many of the students.

She has her days...she can be harsh at times, especially if her pain meds aren't working that day. Her writing on the black board is very sloppy and she goes through problems too fast. She threatens to leave class if people haven't done their homework.

Honestly, she is knowledgeable. Some students like her way of teaching when she goes hard on students and forces them to learn. I myself, don't learn by this way and get scared of her and my mind stops taking anything from her. Please accept the fact that we are DIFFERENT and use simple language so we can understand TAXATION.

Brutually honest, doesn't sugarcoat anything she says. Extremely intelligent and incredibly good at explaining material. Gives plenty examples. Not just crunching numbers, forces you to understand the reason why you do everything. Gives quizzes and midterms for past 5 years to study from, simply: do them get 90%...or get 70% or more likely <50%.
