Dr. Ciasullo is a very good prof for the most part. The only problem I have with this class is that her grader for homework grades very harshly and constantly gives people failing scores on homework. Of course then, that is not Lisa's fault. She is also the club advisor for the math club.

She is so AWESOME! Really professional at her job, loves teach math almost as much as she loves doing math. She is so patient and kind. I have had many teacher in the past but she is by far the best one i've had. Almost wanted me to change my major after I got her. She provides the text for free! homework due twice a week. But great lecturer.

One of the BEST teachers I've ever had! Calculus was so hard for me, I basically lived at her office during office hours, and Lisa never got tired of trying to help me. I got "A's" in both 252 and 253 due to a ton of hard work and her wonderful teaching style.

math111 she is a great teacher! attend class cause her notes help perfectly with hw shes very clear, and helpful. you get attendance grade. she grades quizzes and tests and has graders for hw. very enthusiastic about math!

Great teacher for visual learners. If you are the type that did well in geometry, she'll fit your learning style. I am not that type of person, but she would spend some time after class to answer my questions.

Her office hours are terrible. Never has any time to discuss homework issues from night before. Writes out word for word from book and uses book examples in lecture. The tests seem like they are written in Latin and don't feel like it was taught in class. Quizzes are all just memorize this table on page such and such. She picks "pets" out of class as well.

Lisa teaches mostly off the examples she give you. Which isn't a bad thing. She'll do a lot of them which helps. I find that she's pretty tough on her grading. Very tough actually. I really like math and usually do pretty well in it but I found it hard to keep an A in her class.

Lisa is awesome, TAKE HER CLASSES, if at all possible. She is super friendly, and explains everything well. She makes complicated subjects and concepts easy to digest, and if you're still confused she'll be happy to explain things to you. Homework and tests are a breeze, she preps you well.

In one word, "challenging." Not "challenging" where the teacher is so bad and you need to study on your own to make sense out of everything. Challenging, where she gives you every opportunity to learn. Want to learn Calculus? you WILL learn Calculus from her, IF you are up for the challenge.

Moves 90 to nothing through the material. Don't sit to far to the front youll get hit with chalk shrapnel. Class canceled often due to illness. She really is quite clear but you better get it the first time. She does not like to go back over things, or slow down for questions. Not very available out of class.

The best math teacher that I had at SOU. Actually showed you how to do the homework before assigning it. The tests were on exactly what had been covered in class.
