She is BORING! She goes very very slow which I mean is good, she will never go faster than the student's pace. Math is my bread and butter so this class was a walk in the park. But Evered was very good at teaching all the material. You have 4 tests and a cumulative final. If you study a good amount, you should be fine.

One of the sweetest ladies. One of the best math teachers here at iona. I would highly recommend for brief calc. She goes over all the notes and does a lot of examples. If you pay attention, ask questions when need to, and go to class youll be fine. Only four tests and she drops the lowest grade.

Worst teacher I have ever had. Very strict grader. Class average on every test was not higher that 62% which tells you something about her. Have a 3.7 GPA and had to withdraw from her class because I was going to fail. Avoid at all costs.

Dr. Evered is a great professor! She is not an easy A but if you work like a normal college student you will do well! You must study! They only flaw is that her test are much harder then the class review. BTW she is the SWETEST professor you will ever meet in Math! She will stop a million time if you dont her something. MUST TAKE!

I never liked math until I had this professor. I'm always that person who never likes paying attention but she teaches such hard material so easily and goes over it so many times that I actually enjoy coming to class. She gives 5 tests drops 1. very lenient in general. helps whenever you need it. TAKE HER. best math teacher at iona hands down

Terrible. I was good in math until her class came. Her reviews are nothing like her tests. She only gives 5 tests and that's it. No other way to save yourself. I went to the tutoring center which didnt help me. How can you get help when one guy is helping 5 students at the same time? I strongly reccomend anyone not to take her. You are warned!!

Class was so pointless. Doesn't teach in detail what is on the test. Makes you think the material is easy but you end up having to study on your own from the book. Homework is a joke compared to what's really on the test. Drops the lowest grade but grades are low and go up thanks to her"curve" Avoid this class its boring and teacher makes it hard

Which is BS stop wasting time in class and go over what we need to know. Easy to get a D, w her curve, who wants a D?

I struggle in math, but i am not terrible. She does not offer any extra credit, i was in danger of failing and all she did was tell me when i can drop the class. Thank you Professor Evered you have shown me that you do not care whether your students pass or fail..almost no explaiation on how to do math..do not take

Entered her class because of the comments below. Her grading is heavily bias to those who don't know how to add and subtract. You can pass her class as long as you can get a 40 on her tests (to her its a D and a 60 is a C while a 75 is a C+). Don't take her class if you actually understand math. You'll regret it.
