I couldn't stand Litwiller when I first took her class because she has this thing where she pretends to act tough the first semester to bring students into line. However, I honestly think her class is well-paced, predictable and easy to study for.

"As a matter of fact, I did have a chance to read the case..." Litwiller is precise, and I can see why she must have been a good litigator. I'm not sure she plays favorites, but maybe I'm not paying attention. She's good at contracts too.

I agree that Litwiller gets an unwarranted bad rap. I think she is great. I love how precise she is in her explanations. And she actually watches people's faces to see if they understand. She really wants us to get it. I feel lucky to have her for Civ Pro, which can be confusing.

She is very organized and discliplined. She demands a lot of her students, but she gives as much of herself. Don't be put off by gossip. She's clear about what she teaches. She's approachable if you're polite and respectful. And she repeats clearly that which you need to know.
