Liv is a tough when it comes to marking, and of the feedback she gives with her mark are inaccurate and make you wonder if she actually even read the paper. Class had discussion posts, an online midterm, two 2page reflection assignments, an essay, in-person final. Content is so easy it's boring, but high marks hard to come by despite much effort

I learned so much from Liv when I took this class several years ago. Consequently, I have never received below 80 on a paper since. The writing and critical thinking skills Liv teaches will help you no matter your major. Take ENG 110 from Liv if you can - if you are a weak writer, Liv can help.

Liv is so willing to help us succeed as students of her class and very availble to help. She is a dedicated and interesting professor who has a great sense of humour. I really got a lot out of this class -- especially how to write -- lots of practical advise.

really good prof, she makes what could be boring classes interesting and is helpful. As far as essay writting, she gives very clear instructions and your marks will go up exponentially when you integrate her suggestions.

Liv teaches a relatively easy class if one bothers to attend. Her sense of humour tends to border on morbid at times, which becomes apparent in her poetry selections. It was a good class for anyone who doesn't plan on studying English any further, but made me lose my taste for the subject.

Liv is absolutely genuine and passionate about english. She will spend time with students and has EXTREMELY fair expectations. This is however a difficult class to take with Liv in terms of contribution for a shy student. Two thumbs up to Liv though..take her class you wont regret it.
