Comment:
Honestly she sucks. PROBABLY THE WORST PROF EVER. Not to mention, the TAs are even worse. They are extremely hard markers and have no sympathy while marking. Part marks are out of question, you either get it right or wrong. Avoid this course and this prof at ALL COSTS.

Professor Boulding is extremely sweet and enthusiastic about the material she teaches! iClicker questions during lectures were easy if you listened and she always encouraged students to visit during her office hours. She also set up midterm and exam review sessions.

Liz bounding has many technical issues every lecture. She is not a good prof because she doesn't explain content very well. I stopped going to lectures because, its just a lot easier to learn at home

Nice prof, however the class itself is quite boring. Also, if you did not enjoy BIOL1070 you won't enjoy this course. The material is tested in the same way, where the answer you give could be right, but there's another answer that is a little more right. Very annoying. But they marked the group project/individual writing project pretty easy.

Unorganized and hard to follow. Her lack of technology skills detracted from the flow of the lecture.

Comment:
Liz is very eccentric and over the top when it comes to our lectures (for example, she acted out the evolution of awuatic animals to terrestrial animals. Pretend swimming and all). She genuinely loves what she teaches and is clearly brilliant, but it is painfully evident from her teaching that she is a researcher first and an educator second.

Really nice woman and cares about the subject matter. Adds a bit of humour to the class as well. Problem is she's a little disorganized in her thought processes that make the lectures and concepts really hard to internalize.

She is passionate but if you ends up talking in circles most of the time. Her enthusiasm makes lectures more interesting, however I don't think she's a good at teaching. I found the midterm and exam difficult but the assignments and report is easy.

An amazing professor. She has a strong interest in what she teaches and is enthusiastic about getting everyone to make connections and understand what they are learning. The course itself and it's criteria is sometimes a little unorganized but overall, easy. Attend class as there are TopHat questions counted towards your grade.

Very scatterbrained, lectures are confusing and useless but have to go to get participation marks. Be ready to learn absolutely nothing . Tests are difficult, and grading unclear. She talks in circles and often contradicts herself concerning material. Seriously avoid at all costs.

Probably the worst prof I've had in university, which I feel bad saying. She's a very nice lady, she just has no idea how to teach. Her slides are absolutely terrible and uninformative, but you are forced to go to class for clicker marks. The tests and assignments are marked completely unfairly, looking for specific terms rather than understanding.

Very pedantic grading scheme for tests. Arbitrarily enforces classroom attendance via stupid electronic clickers for grade points (not bonus marks, but rather part of the grade).

It is ridiculous how awful she is! By far the worst prof I've ever had. She can't answer questions and she is incredibly inconsistent. Her lecture notes make no sense and are extremely irrelevant. On tests she looks for exact words rather then general concepts. Must go to class for participation marks. Avoid at all costs!

Worst prof I've ever had. She talks in circles and never actually anwsers your questions. She cannot teach!! Her TA's do most of the work and she does not know what she's talking about. Her lecture slides are the worst, there disorganized and scattered. Her notes contain a lot of non factual information. She made an easy course very difficult!

Boulding is very knowledgeable in her field, but just isn't great at teaching. She assumes you already know concepts, and her lecture notes are so inconsistent and scattered. I took this course as an elective and regretted it. The short answer tests were hard because she looked for specific words rather than general concepts.
