She explains in detail and respects every one. You may need to read textbook for your further understanding but its not mandatory. Participation is not mandatory but for you own good attend the classes and just listen. In SFU she uploaded her lecture notes with the video of each class. Finally, she scale up marks so much at the end.

Knowledgeable professor with good helping nature. Used to share experiences from her past, so they gave break from lecture heavy classes, unfortunately stopped it due to feedback. Except the basic concepts in networking, its useless as Project requires research-oriented tools Riverbed or NS wont help in job interview. NS3 is hard for non-programmer

This course is not much of engineering feel in it. Lots of useless Memorizing & boring tutorials. I knew the material before taking this course & thought I'm gonna build something for project. She's very clear but 427 is not something i would pay for it. Nothing really to show off when you're done this course.

The material isn't bad if you read the book and do the assignments. Learned nothing from lecture. Class average was really low but she scaled really nicely

she is a great prof. she is a kind person, the marking was kinda unfair because you are not allowed to have calculators and she takes all the mark off for a wrong calculation but other than that she is awesome,

In my opinion, her lectures are very clear and precise. Assignments are weekly and a bit lengthy but are very useful. Theories are all introduced with derivations and proofs, like a math class. (Although i am not a big fan of math). Her webpage also provides you many detailed and helpful information if you pay attention to it. Good professor.

Although she has a short temper but she is a kind person and extremely generous in marking .Attendance is mandatory but as long as you have attended more than half of the lectures you will get the attendance mark. Lots of memorizing. Overall good.

The lectures unclear at all, and she always skip over fundamental concepts. Exams are mainly of her previous exams and homework. If you actually want to learn something, avoid taking the course with her. I think you will lose what you have if you really decide to take this course with her

Her lectures are very unclear, and she tends to skip over fundamental concepts. However, she curves a lot. Exams are mainly off her previous exams and homework. If you actually want to learn something, take someone else for this course. I found her lectures to be very frustrating. She's much more clear during her office hours.

She is unique. Takes attendance, has a short temper, hard to get along with, very organized, accent is hard to understand. Teaching style is pretty educational, but can be boring. Marking is easy, but the midterms and final require memorizing lots of facts. Final project is worth 45% of the final grade, and is pretty easy to do well in. Grades are scaled.

She taught ENSC220 with much enthusiasm and really wanted us to learn. However, the way the exams were graded is quiet unfair: 1 wrong answer could mean -30%. She also has the habit of unintentionally sounding mean. When you know her personally though, she's pretty cool. My last impression: it was a good class, I learned a lot.

Two words : AVOID HER! Her accent is horrible, explanation are garbage. Extremely rude to students Once she yelled at a guy and left class midway just becuase that guy can't understand wut she's taking about! Take attendence, holy... Exams are easy, most from her notes. I got A for it but honestly I regret wasting my money for this course with her.

If you approach her after hours with a quesiton she will most definitely answer your question thoroughly. She may be so organized that her system gets overly complicated and ends up forgetting stuff. Very bad written note. No problem solutions are conveniently placed anywhere. Make sure if she leaves for 3 weeks that assignments are released EARLY.

Horrible. Why did she decide to teach if she knew should would be out of the country for 3 weeks of the semester?! Her notes aren't helpful either due to her bad handwriting. Avoid her.
