Comment:

Material wasn't too interesting but that's not his fault. Only gave an 8-10 page paper which is nothing considering its a writing course. Final was a take home non-formal essay & we got 3 days to do it which alleviated stress but he might not do this every time. Pointless tutorials but he was easy. Would recommend just make sure you pay attention!

Comment:

Logan is a very clear, straight-forward prof. He explains well and often is interesting to listen to. Marks fairly and really helps prepare you for exams. Only possible downside would be heavy lecture slides, but they are made available to you prior to the lecture.

Logan is an amazing professor. He sets clear expectations from the first lecture. The policy paper was a lot of work but it was so worth it in the end! The topics covered were very interesting and created interesting conversation.

Great lecturer, keeps my attention for the whole 2 hours. He is funny at times and the class in general is pretty easy. One of the best things i liked is that he sends everyone all the lecture slides. However, i'd suggest showing up to lecture still because he, again, is a great lecturer and it really helps to understand the material better.

Logan is amazing! He is the best professor in the political science department by far. His lectures were not only informative but really interesting. You will at least get an A- in this class if you pay attention to what he says. If you have him as your TA that is a bonus because he is a really fair marker.

Lectures were not mandatory. You have to read the textbook otherwise you will not do good. If you read it depending on your TA (mine was tough grader) you will get at least B+. I did not do very good on my paper still got a B+ overall. Paper is very long (10 pages). Need to put work into it

Great Prof! His exams are straightforward and short (takes no more than 90 mins to complete). But make sure to have some extensive knowledge on a political topic for the essay. Other then that, the M/C and the short answer are a breeze. Also, don't procrastinate with the 10 page paper like I did. It's very hard to do bad in this course w/ Logan.

His lectures felt a bit pointless unless you need things to be said to you to remember because he reads mostly off his power points. I had a hard marking TA so make sure yours is good since they mark your papers and assignmentsparticipation. Overall was decent just a bit boring sometimes.

Logan was a great prof, and the class was great! Because it is a 3 hour lecture with tutorial built in, we would usually get out early. His lectures are always informative and to the point. Really clear with his marking criteria and helped me enjoy the class!

He's passionate about the subject and his lectures are very interesting. The paper is long, but you get good feedback from it. His exams are reasonable, but they require that you study the textbook in detail. I would definitely take his class again!

I took this course as an elective. My TA was also my prof. I got an A on my term paper (it was easy). Not a hard course, the content was similar to Social Studies in high school, but it took me a long time to go over the slides and the textbook. The lecture was not that boring. I recommend this course if you're interested in politics.

Straightfowardclear lectures and grading scheme and he's a nice guy. Keeps lectures pretty funny. Easy enough if you study the lecture notesread the textbook. Feels like a high school socials course tbh. Have to write a 10 page paper if you take the W version (instead of POL 100). Overall GPA booster
