This website was designed to warn you about professors like him. Like 80% of the class i failed and took it again with Mr Hendrickson and got an A. I think the only reason why they keep him around is so that they can charge students again to retake the course. For all future students, if you fail his first test just drop the class

Dr. Miller is a very knowledgeable prof. I did have prior interest in this subject before taking this class, but all I needed to do to make an A was pay attention and go over the powerpoint notes. EVERYTHING ON THE TESTS ARE COVERED IN THE POWERPOINTS. Buying the book is not necessary. I enjoyed this class a lot, he is a funny man.

A bad teacher for me - very cold, barely answers, cuts off points for any reason. Tests don't cover any of the material showed in class. Almost everyone in my class is failing. Trust me you don't want him to be your teacher.

Terrible professor. Dropped his class after taking the first test. His class is very uninteresting, as all his lectures are powerpoint notes. He divided the test into four sections of powerpoint notes, with each section containing between 40 - 60 slides. Way too many notes for one test and boring/uninteresting lectures. Avoid taking his class.

I do have to say the nickname Killer Miller is true. BUT I actually didn't even purchase the book. I printed off all the slides & took notes to each one. I studied those slides & my notes & got a 97 for the semester, with doing only 1 extra credit. JUST PAY ATTENTION & TAKE NOTES

Please be Advised Loren Miller is NOT the professor you want to take, he is beyond difficult. His class consists of lectures and PowerPoint’s, THAT’S IT!!!! No reviews or notes before any test and the power points that you’re supposed to use only 30% of the material is on the test.Not a good class for a A or B

He is not a bad teacher I don't care what any of these review say. I attended class, LISTENED to what he said, and studied for the tests. BOOM. Got an A. He gives you 30 points worth of extra credit (3 whole letter grades). Tests are tricky questions but meant to see if you actually paid attention and learned something (shocker). HE DOES HIS JOB!

WORST PROFESSOR EVER!!!!! his lectures are awful! lecture consists of powerpoints that have a bunch of quotes and graphs and dumb sound effects! his tests are pathetic 30 questions 10 t/f and an essay! you will have 2 papers to do and he grades tough i never have failed a paper before and he has failed my paper! i do not recommend this professor!

KILLER MILLER IS THE WORST TEACHER EVER. I am a straight A student 4.0 GPA, but I got a C in his class. I did all of the extra credit, never missed class, and worked very hard. I wish I had read the comments before taking his class. He is very boring, crude, and seemingly oblivious to how hard his students are struggling to understand the difficult material. All he does is go through a powerpoint presentation day after day. There were difficult tests w/ essays and three papers as well. Overall, not an enjoyable class.

Hoo boy...He's helpful, and teaches the material in a way that's easy to understand and to remember, but he's really fond of penalties. Return the learning contract late? Marks halved on all papers. Miss more than three classes? You get an 'I'. Five minutes late to class? You ain't getting in. He's a really good teacher, but you need to be careful.

Very hard teacher but everything for the class was already online and you had plently of time to prepare for everything. People who fail are the ones who do not show up to class. All slides are online and you can print them out. Good teacher just hard class.
