Comment:

Literally one of the best professors I have ever had. I failed Accounting 201, and she cleared everything up and made it so easy to learn. One midterm, one final (3 parts to each), and 12 chapters of homework (seems like a lot but it isn't). A lot of points, so if you mess up one thing, it doesn't shake your grade too bad.

Consists of a midterm and final. Tests are 3 parts, 2 of which are take home. Incredibly sweet woman, more than willing to help if you ask. She truly cannot stress enough how much she cares for everyone. Homework is short (CRNC). Online quizzes. Great class. Easy to understand and apply. Nothing like ACCT201.

Lori Sipe is probably the most incredible professor I have ever had. I have difficulty learning and doing well on tests but I am an incredibly hard worker and she is an incredibly helpful teacher. She will go above and beyond the call of duty every single time, and shes absolutely adorable. Im actually taking her for another class this semester. 3

a lot of projects and out of class work. easy A if you just show interest. The simulations are fairly simple just be sure to actually read them prior to the day you have it and MAKE SURE you attempt to "be the leader" of the group and you'll receive the highest score. the rest of the assignments are simple but the interviews are annoying

Failed accounting 201 and still managed an A in this class! she was so good at explaining the information and I didnt even have to study for the tests because I just knew the material. Homework every week, really helos for studying so dont lose any!

She was a great teacher! the way she explained these difficult theories made them so easy i didnt even have to study for the test at all i just already had it in my head. There is homework every week thats easy points and then a 3 part final. 10 in class questions that she gives partial credit on and an online mulTIple choice and short project

Favorite teacher at SDSU! Definitely made accounting easy and fun! Recommend this teacher to any hospitality majors! She is also super helpful and ends class early sometimes which is nice! Take her!

Lori has done the impossible; she made accounting FUN & EASY! no joke. I never sit in the front of classes and I sat in front of hers every day! Loved Lori! TIPS: Attend EVERY class, her methods are a lot easier than the books and she helps you with your online quizzes and projects during class time. O & Be creative with Projects! :)

I loved this class. No busy homework or daily assignments. A few quizzes but no tests. Class based on three main projects including a group music video project and a portfolio of your summaries from speakers throughout the semester. Overall very fun class and pretty easy.

She is passionate about the industry and can be a great resource for help. HOWEVER, she is so disorganized! She would post grading rubrics and samples 1 hour before an assignment is due - wtf? Her portfolio assignment is dreadful. I like the idea but far too many speaker summaries, they all start to sound the same. do not take unless its your major

the class is extremely easy, no quizzes or tests, the class consists of group projects and a portfolio. get a good group because the class is mostly group projects. the portfolio project is done by yourself but it sucks because they do portfolio checks throughout the semester. the TA dont really know what they are doing and are bad resources to use

Lots of small group tasks,pick members wisely. Requires a lot of out of class time-LOTS. Def possibly to get an A..just do all the work. Very fair grading, easy to persuade, fun personality, midterm and finals were a joke!

I had her for HTM 201 and 223 last sem. Got As in both. I had to work hard, but both classes were fun. 201 was annoying because I had a horrible group & almost got a B. Once you pick your group, thats it! Choose carefully. Also, had to make scrapbook. 223 required lots of work & strict deadlines to get A but you should turn work in on time anyways!
