She was a nice person, but a terrible professor. Unclear instructions on assignments, and unwilling to help you understand things. You figure everything out on your own.

Test are extremely hard, she does give a lot of bonus though and will curve the test if the scores are extremely low. Nice lady but just needs to explain better. She will not fail you and she's been working on improving her teaching which is good.

Literally one of the worst professors in the Business Department. I am a marketing major and she treats her class as if we are all accounting majors. Expect hours of homework every night, and tests are completely irrelevant.

All around a bad teacher. Doesn't know how to teach, tries to help but ends up making you even more confused then before. Homework's are different then in class examples. Would not take again. Look for another teacher.

She is very unclear about everything, expects you to know most of it before she teaches it in class. If you ask her a question about the homework theres a 50% chance what she says is helpful

Professor Zulauf is a sweet lady. With that being said, she is one of the hardest professors I have ever had. We had 4-5 hours of homework a week regularly(sometimes more). If you go to class and complete all homework than you have a chance of passing. The amount of work was just ridiculous for a 200 level course so be ready to work.

She is EXTREAMLY boring. She uses participation based on attendance. Does all of her assignments through Mcgraw Hill. Nice lady but not a very good teacher. The lectures have nothing to do with homework, homework has nothing to do with the tests. Tests are 90% logic, but she focuses all of the lectures and homework on equations and problems.

Easy Class. You must get 70% on the seven modules she has listed on the syllabus in order to receive an A in the class. She is very nice and easy going, and she can even help you with your taxes during tax season.

As long as you get a 70% on each section she grades, you will get an A in the course. Taxes aren't my strong point but she makes it pretty simple for you to get an A in the course. She's somewhat boring but makes some jokes to try and keep you entertained.

class is really easy if you show up. she checks attendance everyday so that should be a bunch of easy points. test can be tricky but if you pay attention/take good notes you can do alright because you just need to average a 70% on the tests. would suggest taking if you need the credits since it isn't that demanding

Very easy teacher, the class is very easy as long as you study right before the two tests, you have to be in class to get a decent grade, but you only need a 70% to pass. I would recommend Taxes in America anyday

Very easy class, you only need a 70% to get an A in the class. She is very helpful. But if you don't have some basic understanding of taxes it can be hard to get sometimes.

Dr. Zulauf is a really nice person. I definitely suggest taking Taxes in America. It's not too much work and the grading system is more than fair. (Believe it or not, taxes are interesting too.) The only problem that I had was that the projects are a little confusing. But other than that this was a great liberal studies class.

She's a nice lady. As long as you get a 70% or higher in 7 different areas you'll receive an A for the class. (Areas= attendance, participation for first half of year, participation for second half of year, 2 exams,a project, and a paper.) TAKE THIS CLASS.

Extremely nice lady, but unfortanutley not a great professor. Knows what she is talking about but is not great at explaining/teaching. I recommend having some knowledge on taxes before taking this class. 7 modules requiring above a 70%, and you get an A!

I've taken accting before, she makes everything soo confusing! the final exam is online from the book, but she never used the book in class. the class is primarily about one project and she is so unclear about everything! Avoid taking her if you want to stay sane, she will drive you nuts!

This woman will drive you insane. She is so ditsy and unclear. This is the easiest class to pass, just by her grading scale, but she never sends out emails until the very last minute. I'm still dealing with problems from her and the semester is over!
