Dohse is really chill. The work isn't hard, nor is t overly time consuming. Not having to carry around or use a textbook is rad, and the notes are online. The class moves at a good pace, and missing one day doesn't set you back at all.

If you are just in need of a math class to graduate, Dohse is your guy. He is great at explaining things and gives more than ample opportunity to get a good grade. His tests are easy and the class does not require too much work. Beyond that, he is hilarious and great fun to talk to. I highly recommend this course!

Dohse is a little scattered, but great. If you aren't math oriented or have trouble hearing, sit near the front. He's very quiet. But he's a real human being and he's very flexible, very understanding. Great teacher.

Sometimes difficult to understand. He uses notation completely different from the book, but let's you know of that. He is EXTREMELY helpful, he is always in his office and willing to help. Very, very nice guy. Most of the time when I went to ask a question about a problem, he just ended up giving the answer to me and explaining it.

Dohse is quite quirky. His random spouts of excitement keep you on your toes. Attendance isn't mandatory to have a good grade. Overall pretty good, would recommend for anyone taking stats

I too missed a significant amount of class and still made a C.. He was always pleasant when I went to see him and makes an occasional attempt to include fun examples/assignments. Upbeat, eccentric guy. Take math 155 with dohse if you're looking for the easiest way out of the math requirements

I love Dohse. If I had to have math with anyone else I would have died. I missed class 70% of the time and still made a B (would have made an A if i hadn't skipped a test day) He is repetitive, but he tries to make to make everything clear. Very good to

Always very enthusiastic and encouraging. Tries to reach everyone. Sometimes mis-says the variable or some such thing, but if you are paying attention, you know what he means. Grading was easy. Good sense of humor and very friendly.
