I have taken many classes with her and am anticipating thesis with her. She saved my major and is one of the best professors I have ever had the pleasure of working with. She is open minded to all opinions and takes the time to understand what you say. Fair grader, fun classes, if you have the opportunity to choose a class with her, do it.

She is nice. All she made my class do was watch a movie on the play & each movie took up 2 days and the other days we just talked about it. There is only 2 short essays and 3 quizzes(not hard) and she didn't make us take,a midterm or a final. This class wasn't bad. It was boring but as long as you do the little amount of work you will be fine!

I did alright in Creative Writing with her, but if it's not realistic fiction, as in if it's fantasy or a genre similar to that, she really has trouble understanding where you are coming from and won't hesitate to criticize what you write (sometimes she needs a bit more tact.) But she knows what she's talking about (just not fantasy writing).

Great teacher. She explained everything wonderfully and i found her tests to be very easy if you just did the reading. I would take her again in a heartbeat. At first appearance i thought she would be mean but she is the sweetest person ever. She welcomes class discussion and doesn't mind if you disagree she encourages your opinion. TAKE HER!

It took me some time to get used to her, but now that it's over, I realize how nice and how knowlegeable she is. I definitely recommend her. She's a very fair grader (maybe a little tough, but I think you get what you deserve) and DOES expect you to know the material.

Never have I felt more at home in a classroom than in that of Professor Rose. She is highly knowledgeable, prepared, and intelligent. You'll have to work for her -- hard -- but earning her respect and praise is worth it.
