Dr. Sullivan-Blum is one prof. that I would suggest every student to take a class with. She has a uniqueness to her that just makes you feel good as a student. She's friendly, understanding, and really helps when it is needed. Take a class with her (I would suggest fiction writing) you won't regret it!

This is a Novel Writing class, so it's writing- and reading-intensive. I can't emphasize enough how helpful the professor was with giving feedback on papers. The professor allowed three "skip" days, but attending Workshops is crucial to passing--all of this is outlined in her syllabus, but she also is clear with how the class is run.

Professor Sullivan-Blum is one of the best professors I have ever had. I love English literature, but I have always felt self-conscious about my writing. Prof. Sullivan-Blum really helped me learn to write and to think about the world in a much more open way. She truly cares about her students, and it shows.

Amazing Teacher! Her in-depth discussions and writing assignments make the class insightful and informative. If you want to take a class that goes beyond memorizing facts, take Comp 2. If you want a teacher that makes you actually think about the material and enjoy the class while doing so, I recommend Sullivan-Blum

Obviously the prior comments come from uneducated slobs with poor real-life skills. She identifies with her students on a variety of levels and truly cares. If you have any questions or need help, she is always there. Openminded professor with a wide range of teaching methods to ensure everybody gets the point. Great lady :D

Extremly hard class even if you write a your paper there is no sure way that you will pass this class And she constantly talks about her personal life. Her I know more about her life partner then the the books she assigned to read. If you subtract the time that she talks about her life class is only about a 30 min out 85 min extra credit is limited
