Louise should not be teaching at any level. She's a terrible educator, and has no passion. She shouldn't be chair of the printmaking faculty-- it just shows how little OCADU cares about its students. Just focus on your own work, ignore her completely.

As a friend once put it, "Learning with Louise is like being taught English as a second language. . . when you've been speaking English all your life." It is deadly. The entire class despised her, she berates you for creativity, nitpicks over details that weren't outlined in the assignment, and absolutely refuses to disclose her grading scheme.

LITHO RULES! Louise is there to aid you in your assignments (for litho. anyways), and will take over if you are having a really tough time. Just in third year litho. alone, I learned an extreme amount of knowledge that I put to use immediately in my 3 assignments. Some people say they dislike her but I have no regret taking a course with her. ^_^
