Lowry is a great acting teacher! Don't be afraid of her, she has great things to share. Imagine Brown's theatre program without Lowry - it would be pretty weak. Tons of experience and insight, and has always been warm and approachable.

I studied with Lowery over 10 years ago. She is with out question the worst acting teacher I have had the misfortune of working with. It took me years to get over her petty favoritism and her constant over selling.

I have found Lowry to be among the most judgemental, difficult, uncaring professors I have ever had. To those she preselects as her favorites, she is very kind. If you're not on her A list, watch out.
