Awsome teacher! Four exams and no final. Extra credit articles based on the avg of your first two test scores. Very helpful, and answers any questions fairly. Talk to him and get to know him, you'll love him. Classes are boring but thats a great time to study for the test. Read very indepth and your sure to pass the test! Attendace is required.

The tests are incredibly hard and if you don't read the textbook entirely, you probably won't do well. I never listened in class, I would just sit there and read. It's the only way to study. He gives TONS of extra credit though. I still made an A in the class despite my test grades.

dr .witherspoon is a great human being and professor. Classes are very enjoyable and thought provoking and being that he teaches religion he is incredibly balanced in his teaching and does not look down on anyones beleifs.

Honestly, I hated the class. He was a terrible professor....if you want to read every word of the book and go to every class and hear him talk about everything but the class, then take it. He won't tell you anything to help you, just tells you want you'll find in the book.

Doc Witherspoon is AWESOME. Learned a lot in his classes in the early 1990s. More importantly, his kindness and advice have influenced in a major way both my personal life as well as my philosophy of teaching.

Ignore those who say he is too hard. This is a very easy class if you do the extra credit...you're not expected to do well on the tests, but if you do the extra credit, you can get an A easy (or at least a B). He is unclear, though, on what he expects.
