Comment:

Perhaps this comes with a bias (not a sociology major), but this was perhaps the most chill class I have ever had the privilege of taking. Even if you somehow struggle in his class, he gives extra credit assignments out like candy. The only way you can mess up with a teacher like this is if you genuinely don't take his class/teaching seriously.

Luis is an awesome professor. He is very specific about what he wants but he gives you clear directions that are easy to follow. If you have questions, just ask him! He is more than willing to help. This class requires you to write a research proposal so yes there is a lot of writing. Do all of the assignments and you will get an A!

Posas is very specific about what he looks for in projectsassignments so make sure you read instructions carefully And don''t be late That being said if you put in the effort you''ll do well. His lectures might drag on sometimes but he''s SUPER helpful with understanding materialassignments if you visit him during office hours.

Dr posas was a very hard professor. His class was mandatory & even if you were 5 minutes late he would shut the door on you & tell you "sorry". He would only help if you went to his office. For a 200 level class, you think it would be easier.. We had more work than my 4 other classes combined, too many assignments. Should be a writing intensive.

Dr. Posas is fantastic! He is very dedicated to the class and students. The class is work intensive, but very it is necessary to do successful in this class. You will learn ALOT if you put the time and effort in to the work.

I just got done taking his class and I have to agree with what everyone on here is saying! He is very arrogant, very snotty, and I didnt understand him or his assignments because he has a very thick accent. His class isnt hard, its just hard to sit through! Attendence is manditory and the topics are uninteresting.

Posas is arrogant and closed minded, he teaches HIS opinions and doesn't care about anyone else. I felt like he was blaming us (Caucasians) for all of the world's problems. I would not recommend this course.

Class was pretty easy, tests are easy. However you need to go to class everyday to get the material for the exams. If you don't go to class good luck on the exams! Huge term paper at the end of the semester.

Got an A in both classes. Very Helpful and gives lots of extra credit. If you show up and do your work you will get a good grade. If you have a question it is very easy to approach him outside of class. If you are lazy, you wont do good...If you study and prepare for tests you will do GREAT!

Easy class. Many Ex. Credit opportunities by watching videos in and out of class. MC and essay tests. Good elective class if you are searching for one. Grades fair, do the work and you will do good.
