Mrs. Robinson is a very nice lady, but she REALLY can't teach. Lectures are deathly boring, she grades like a psycho on a mission to get you expelled from the college and I made a C in her class; I am, or was, a 4.0 student!!!!!!!!! Don't take her if you value your grade!!!!!!!!

She reads the stories you were told to read the night before in class and then assigns an essay you receive more essays than you can finish and she is never satisfied with your work. Extremely hard to please and to stay awake for.

Walk yourself into oncoming traffic before you sign up for her class. Robinson should of been out of the game years ago....but unfortunately she's still around. Take this class with ANYONE else except her, as she grades unfairly, is rude, and thinks her sh*t doesn't stink. Horrible nightmare! I dropped this class, took it with Hagen, and got and A!

Terrible. If I wanted cinema appreciation, I would've signed up for it. All we do is watch movie versions of the material we're studying, get lectured on the plot (which should be obvious from the movie), and write an enormous pile of essays. Impossible standards, even for people who are good at English. Assignments are unclear. Avoid at all costs.

i hated this class with a passion, whatever you do, do NOT get this teacher. i loved my AP english class in high school, but shes horrible, doesn't teach, very boring, and grades very hard. if you write an A paper but have bad grammer...be prepared to see a R to rewrite it and she still doesn't pass you...stupid lady

shes like the cute little grandma I never wanted. I thought I was an English whiz until I look this class but I am better for have taken it. its really prepared me for my major ( journalism) She makes it possible to get a good grade with the amount of work you put in. take this class if you want to better your writing skills.

The lectures are not extremely interesting. After turning in a paper you get the opportunity to revise it for a better grade, but she marks errors, which she did not mark the first time. She is very maticulous with gramatical error. She does want students to do well, so go to her office hours and get feed back on papers.

She is a very nice,old lady.It was a tough class but she grades fair.She is helpful with assignments when someone needs help.We do A TON of essays so be prepared to write a total of 6,000 (or more) words by the end of the semester.But it's worth taking the class, especially for Comp I.
