AMAZING TEACHER. A prof that instructs *like a teacher* She is incredibly helpful, very clear in her lectures, and explains things in a great manner. Asking questions is ENCOURAGED in the class and she will answer them awesome prof. Hated the material but one of the best profs I have ever had. Recommended 100%

Comment:

Lynda is a true *teacher*. The few naysayers on here ought to shut it, as they are simpletons who can't think outside the box and should not be in Computer Science. Consistently fascinating assignments, interesting, dynamic lectures. Only criticism is that she got a bit flaky in the past few years with canceling classes, responding to email, etc.

probably the worst professor I've ever had. Lynda is overbearing and doesn't listen. She interrupts people when they are making a point in lecture, and rarely asks a clear question. She is completely unorganized and can be extremely difficult to deal with. The assignments were contrived and completely unchallenging.Very VERY frustrating. STAY AWAY!

Lynda is awesome. If she's teaching a course, take it. She's enthusiastic, engaging, and challenges you to think for yourself. She's also extremely helpful, and her assignments are typically pretty fun (although they require a good investment in time).
