Professor Jones is a vey interesting guy but by far the worst teacher Ive ever had. He lectures from start to finish. 4 exams. 1 paper. All 100 points each for a total of -/500 points. His lectures and study guides have little to do with the test material. His class Russian roulette. No extra credit.

tldr: Little old fashioned in his method of teaching, but liberal, intelligent, and a very respectful teacher. His lecture can get a little dry from time to time, but it is still useful.

listen to everything he says in class and make sure to write IT ALL down (no ppt), study what you dont know before the review session that way you can ask questions for the exam, book not needed but he is ALWAYS available to help struggling students, he will even tutor you after class. Definitely take this class if you're ready to work every day

Prof. Jones is passionate about government--that's for sure. You'll enjoy his class if you're actually interested in government or political science. Prepare to take notes in class. He speaks slow and concise-- making it easy to write down. He hands out study guides usually a week before the exam.

Prof. Jones does not give you enough materials to pass, that makes it very difficult for anyone to get an A. Most students have to take the class again....... I would not recommend this professor if you didn't take government in high school.

Lectures are long and boring, was hard not to skip class. Tests are hard and not worded very well. There is one paper where you have to go to a court room and observe. He graded easily on it. Attendance is not mandatory but he takes role and uses it to decide whether to bump you up a letter grade if you're on the edge.

Worst professor that you will ever encounter in your life, do not take him, he is a symbol of failure in teaching, tests are not from the book and only are from his long boring lectures, he should be voted off the school cause he is so old he can't even remember his own name, he does not care about his students do not I repeat DO NOT take this guy.

Jones is an amazing speaker and teacher but his tests are what killed my grade. There are 3 tests and 1 easy paper. The tests are all the same with multiple choice and fill in the blank with some matching which is what is pathetic. Most of the time I thought I did good on the tests but nope I was wrong. Doesn't give extra creditcurves!

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!! if you signed up for him, withdraw NOW! No homework, no quizzes, no chance to make things up, no extra credit and no feed back. He goes based off of his lectures for tests so you will not need a book. If you miss a class or two, good luck understanding what the unit is about. TESTS ARE HARD. Some have extra material added.

I've never in my life made grades like i did in this class as in failed tests Some test were fine and i got quite a few b's but also d's so its a hit or miss you don't use a book so you really have to search online for everything you study which takes a lot of time and can be stressful he is really sweet though!

His lesctures are long. Don't buy the book because you'll never use it. Only 4 tests and 1 project. He doesn't give homework. His tests are hard, but he gives a review and if you know all the terms inside and out on the review you'll do fine on the tests. As in getting D's -C's. 8 wouldnt bet on making an A cause his tests are too hard for that.
