Simply amazing. Very charismatic and clear with her lecture. Was already interested in history, but this class truly took me to the next level. Literally enjoyed every single lecture. Not only does she know her subject thoroughly but her passion for the subject is simply contagious. Amazing teacher!

Comment:

Fantastic lecturer. Very clear, concise and straight-forward. Exams are from her lectures with some textbook questions thrown in. Will drop 1 exam. It was very easy to earn an A in the class. She'll tell you what you need to know on the tests, so if you show up to class and don't fall asleep you will be fine. I learned immensely from Dr. Luciano.

Fantastic teacher. Her format is simple: you come to class and take all your notes based on her lecture and then you take your exams. There's nothing in between, except reading one book on your own (Malcolm X). There's no reason you should fail this class unless you took bad notes and didn't bother to pay attention. Cake, folks.

The ONLY professor you want for History!!!! She is specific to what you need to know. If you study from lecture and what she tells you to read you will get an A. Clear, and very interesting!!! A very nice Lady, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!

I was nervous to take this class because I struggle in History, but Prof. Luciano is amazing! If you do not come to class then you will not know what is on the exams. She clarifies what is on the test and makes the material interesting. Take good notes, highlight what she says is important and you will be fine.

Friendly and enthusiastic teacher, obviously cares a lot about her subject. There is a LOT of reading and if you don't do the reading you'll do badly on the quizzes and exams (which is what determines your grade). quiz & exam material is sometimes confusing and/or obscure and she is a pretty tough grader, but I learned a lot and enjoyed the class.

First of all, Dr. Luciano is a very intelligent woman and learned SO MUCH from her but it's not an easy A. What she'll do is lecture a lot and assign several readings and then test and quize you on them. The problem is, is that some of her questions on the tests seem like she pulled them out of nowhere. But otherwise, great class!

I love her, if you acctually listen to the lectures, I mean really just focus for that 80min and take good notes...it's pretty much an easy A. Her lectures are clear and consistent. She always answers questions and she has a passionate and upbeat way of talking about history. The class was engaging and i acctually LEARNED! ! !

Dr. Luciano is not an easy teacher. There is a lot of required reading per week. Your grade was dependant on three exams and there is no extra credit. I loved the class and learned very much.Be prepared for lots of note-taking and reading.

The best history teacher I could imagine. Dynamic, witty, insightful, charismatic and engaging, with a brilliant perspective. The exams are difficult, sometimes including small details. I highly recommend her, just be sure to make enough time to do the necessary reading, and be alert in class because you don't want to miss a thing.

Greatest teacher ever, she's kind and helpful. No homework, exams were doable and she always gives extra credit. I had no interest in history 13 before the class and she really made it worth taking and learning about.
