He is literally my favorite professor I have ever had. He is amazing. He actually cares about his students and their lives. He responds to your messages so quickly and so detailed to help you. TAKE THIS MAN. It was such a blessing to have him as a prof.

Maan Omran is one of the finest professors I have ever encountered. Twenty-four years after taking his Finite Mathematics class, I still remember his name, his teaching style, and, more importantly, how much I really enjoyed learning math while in his class. His teaching style is very much "Festina Lente" (make haste, slowly).

In my opinion his teaching skills sucked, he gives you 1 problem to go over and expects you to know what you're doing. He rushes through the material he gives out homework that he doesn't grade. Go to class, because you never know when he'll take attendance and it counts towards your class work grade. I passed this class but barely. GO to the MAC

Go to every class, he doesn't use the book to teach so it is very important that you are there for the lectures. Do the homework and the practice tests and it will be easy to get an A. Never text in his class, he hates it.

I had M118 with professor Omran. He is by far the best math teacher I have had (and I'm a physics major). He explains the material very well and can explain the same topic in many different way. Also, he isn't afraid to poke fun at himself. He is also willing to work with the student to ensure they have everything they need to pass.

Omran is probably my favorite math professor ever, he has a funny accent and hes's a funny guy. As long as you attend class, do the homework and read his "massages"(you'll understand when you have him lol) its an easy A. The first 2 weeks was tough but as long you go to the MAC and listen to the lectures I promise it will be easy!

THE best math profteacher that I've ever had EVER. Makes everything clear. Tells you what you need to know for testsfinal. Show up to the classes, apply yourself, do the book work and you'll get an A for sure. 30+ years. Funny as hell too.

Prof Omran is a greaaaaat Prof. His class in not that easy but if you take math-118 with him you will pass. he is welling to help his student and get them prepared before each exam. Also if you have any question you can email him and he will answer you immediately. He is funny and helpful prof, I recommend him to any one.

This Professor was a great professor. There is quite a bit of homework, but I believe it definitely helped. Also when doing the homework, if you show work, he will give you the points regardless of the answer. With online homework, there were countless times where he would extend the homework because students didn't do it. Also he is very outgoing.

Lots of homework, but it helps with the tests. Don't just not do them, he makes sure to collect them all the day it's due. He goes fast in lectures but it's easy to teach yourself or just go to the MAC. Do sample tests. They help a lot! His jokes make the class go by quicker, he's a nice guy. Just listen in class and you'll do fine.

Prof. Omran is the best math teacher I've ever had. I previously dropped 118. I was nervous to take it again, but Prof. Omran made it easy to understand. He is also a very funny guy and makes a boring subject seem fun.

I took M118 with this professor in 1993. THAT was a long time ago. I was a high school drop out who had just gotten my GED. The way this professor taught and took interest in his students is what kept me in college. I strongly recommend him.

More homework than what is needed, but doing it should help you get an A. He teaches pretty simple and lets you struggle on assignments, but his tactic really helps the material sink in. Best math instructor I have had. I would highly recommend you take any class this guy offers if you really want to learn. Time consuming, so be prepared.

Prof. Omran in M119, Applied Calculus, was excellent. I had him for M118, Finite Math, as well. Just like in M118, he assigned a large amount of homework! The copious amounts of homework will prepare you for the tests and final. Do ALL the homework = Most likely get an A!! I would recommend taking him for M118 and M119.
