Comment:

Ikpah isn't like any professor I've had before, he's human. It would be days he would forget what we were supposed to do in class and he will just throw on a movie or a show. When it comes to work YES it's a lot of it but if you do it then you will be fine. For our final we ate pizza and watched a movie. I LOVED him and will be taking him again.

Speeches every week, has take home tests that arent too hard if you look in the book. Has a strict grading policy but if you follow you will be okay. He is a kind teacher and works with students. Dont skip a class or your grade will drop.

Comment:

Literally all you have to do for this class is show up to do your speech and read the book for take home tests. His tests are very specific but they're all open book. He has a weird teaching style.. you do really weird speeches. And always make sure you have all the papers. He cancels class all the time and lets you out early almost every class.

This is by far the worst professor I have ever had. I have never been so stressed out and thrown off in a class. His grading criteria is absurd and basically if its not his way its no ones way. Doesnt hand back assignments. Changes due dates constantly and doesnt remember that he does so. Doesnt follow syllabus. Overall, completely avoid.

Please stop saying he's "hilarious." He may be a good person, but he's not a good teacher. His assignments make no sense, and he constantly changes due dates. If you miss 1 class, your grade will be dropped for any reason. He has no grasp of the material, but he will accept coffee as a kind gesture. Epitome of a tenured prof.

There will be 4 pages of homework each weekend on top of various confusing projects that require a very specific APA format. This professor will give you a zero for not writing the class time on your paper. The best yet was when he emailed us that we had a 50 point test the first day of class that students were required to complete within 30 mins

Professor Ikpah is AMAZING! At first I was hesitant from the reviews on here, but after one class he became my favorite prof. He has a dry sense of humor, which I find hilarious. He is ALWAYS willing to work with you, and offers his office hours. Overall he is just a really caring professor which is hard to find. Bring him wawa or McDonalds coffee!

Ikpah is confusing and changes everything on the daily. When you get the syllabus you'll want to drop. Don't. He is SO easy. Show up for class and turn in assignments and it is an easy A, in addition to him offering copious amounts of extra credit. If you try to get to know him, he has incredible connections and wants to help out his students!

He never quite knows what he's talking about it seems. He's really hard to understand, but it's not really because of his accent. He's very disorganized and constantly changes rules, due dates, and anything else he can't remember. He has a few funny moments, but to me at least they don't make up for his class being confusing as anything 24/7.

Show up to class and turn in your assignments. If you take the time to truly understand and know him you will realize he is really trying to help better his students. Show that you care, show up to class, do the assignments that are nothing short of easy- and you'll walk away with an A. He really means well and is ALWAYS willing to help.

I have to admit Ikpah is my favorite professor. Not so much in his style of teaching, but more so of who he is as a person. I had him for two classes last semester and never minded going to his class. Yes, he is hard to understand. But, we're all adults here and can work with that. He is an extremely kind man who just wants you to succeed.

At the surface level, he seems super strict and his assignments feel like they're all over the place. But if you do the work, and express to him that you want to pass he will help you. I handed in almost all of my assignments late and stuggled a lot with tests but I still passed with a B. A professor who cares about students who need help.

Ok, I'll admit it. HE IS TOUGH! HE IS CONFUSING! But he is still one of my FAVORITE professor ever. Even before college. He is very disorganized and all over the place. There are group projects and he will question you on your topic. The book, eh. You'll be fine without it. Best advice: Utilize office hours. If you try for him, he'll ride for you.

Worst professor ever. He was completely unorganized. I could not understand anything he said. This was not just because of his accent, he changed things every other day & never remembers what he says. If you do the work you will do good, but it's not worth it. He'll often make you come all the way to his office for no reason, which is inconvenient.

Literally the most unorganized person i have met in my life. Changes due dates constantly. Will give you a 0 on anything without the date on it. Incredibly strict- if you miss class for any reason, you drop a letter grade. Extremely unclear on everything. Learned nothing about the subject matter. Avoid this guy like the plague.

Professor Ikpah is one of the most humorous professor I have ever had. He is unclear with directions and guidelines and you are going to be extremely confused at first, but as long as you go to his office and hand in your assignments you will have no problem getting an A or a B. To this day he is still one of my favorite professors. Take his class!

Taking this class is just like tripping on acid, you have absolutely no clue whats going on. Buckle up your seat belts if you are stuck in his class reading this you just opened up pandoras box. Call your mom, tell her you love her because I'm sorry I don't know if your making it out of this alive. He is also addicted to pain meds so watch out.
