Almost feels like to do well in the class you will have to already know the material. Not necessarily hard stuff but she year Teaches very fast and tests seem unlike what we do in class. She teaches too much content at once. Nice lady but her teaching skills arent as helpful as the should be. Would def need a tutor on the side to keep up with her.

Had her for finite math before I dropped the class. Very smart but very hard to understand. She does scream and get frustrated when you dont understand. Im really bad at math so thats why my easiness rating is so low, but try not to take her unless your a math genius! Nice lady though..

She's this cute , little woman. She is very helpful and has many chances for you to ask for help. Tests are easy if you study. You're allowed a note card for them with formulas on it. She isn't bad.. the people that are giving her bad ratings, probably didn't take the class seriously.

Professor Puri is no doubt a intelligent woman, yet this does not make her a good teacher. She is hit or miss she often explains something one time so quickly and with her accent you do not comprehend. Then when you ask for help you get "WHyyyy Don't you understand this? It is easy." (where as she does not re-explain anything and she moves on)

After reading the comments on here, I was scared of attending her class and had a bad image of her. The first few weeks were bad - But she's surprisingly a really nice teacher if you talk to her. Although sometimes you won't understand her - ask her for help outside of class and she'd be delighted to help you. Give her a chance - She's only human.

When she's frustrated with the class all she seems to be able to do is continuously ask why we don't understand, then proceed to shout at the board while crazily scribbling notes. Of the three Physics profs on campus, I think she's the best. She's the only one who lets you use notecards on tests and exams. If you're really nice to her and if you get her to acknowledge your note-taking, she'll dismiss class early. The tests are easier than the quizzes. TAKE PURI

really easy...you have to go to class...DO NOT take the class tyhat's 50 minutes....if you suck it up and take the hour and 15 minute class she explains things well...and you con convince her to do anything. we got her to move quizes and test and make reviews...we even got her to cancel class twice.

Had her for General Physics. She moved through material too fast. The whole class had problems keeping up with her. The tutors for this class were student tutors and did not help at all. We had to beg her to make practice tests for us the last two tests.
