He mentioned multiple times he would give us a formula sheet that include specific formulas that we will need and when we showed up to the final those formulas were not provided to us. He also made multiple mistakes on his first midterm and has not been fair with marking.

He told us we would have access to formula sheets that were posted online, so I didn't memorize certain formulas. He gave us only a few of the pages from those sheets. We needed a formula from the sheets he omitted.

Dr. Ahmadi is a true professor. He has a passion for what he does and he does it well. He is always available to help and he treats everyone fairly. His class is no joke! Study, get help and show up to class you will get an A. GREAT PROFESSOR!!!

Comment:

If you're trying to slip through by mooching off friends or partners, you will not only do bad on midterm/exam, you will fail. It's that simple. Get a hold of past exams, they help a lot. This class is a rude awakening to anyone not willing to actually learn the content and put time into studying. Amount of people retaking class is unbelievable.

Practice doing problems on your own. The tests are not super hard, you either get it or he'll give you a straight up 0 for each question. Be sure to practice your wiring skills in order to speed on DLD labs. His speech about the importance of graduate programs though, makes you think. His lecture notes can be really helpful and he forces attendance

Comment:

Teaches digital; marks digital. You either get 100%, or 0%. (And you only get 100% if your circuit diagram is ORIENTED EXACTLY like his answer sheet. An identical circuit, just drawn with a different orientation, earns 0%. And reviewing the exam with him and showing him your circuit is equivalent just makes him hate you.)

A true disaster, teaches very old and obsolete materials. He has no knowledge of modern digital circuit design using Verilog or VHDL. Marks bad, has no reservation to lie and disrespects students.

One of the worst. Never is on time, always is out of campus for stupid reasons. is not fair and does not provide effective answer to students problems.unbelievable: unfortunately is managing the engineering faculty.

Ahmadi for the win, too bad he is getting on with age and most likely retiring soon. Attending classes is a must, but time flies when you listen to him. From someone who is interested in the subject, he is a very good lecturer, too bad he only teaches this class for undergrads...

If you're ready for continuing electrical he's the only prof for digital logic design and the hardest one. This prof give hard tests and corrects them in one day. Poor in fairness and will fail you easily. Taking his course is a nightmare. None of the GAs are helpful. He should be called Professor Ahmedinejad of electrical engineering.

One of the worst professors in the University of Windsor. Does not know how to examine an answer paper. He only has ONE answer to each of the questions and if your answer does not match it (100% match) then, he will give you zero!! And he doesn't even have the proper knowledge of digital signal processing. How did he become a Professor anyway?

It's not a fluke that Dr. Ahmadi is a fellow of the IEEE. He's extremely sharp, and if you stay on his good side, he's a great teacher, a great mentor and a great person to know in general. This, however, does not mean that his classes are easy by any stretch of the imagination.
