Comment:
Do not waste time studying for this class because it is likely that the material being tested is not the material you were told to study. His grading system does not make any sense. If you want a good grade, you have to be a good negotiator; 100% self-study class. Many useless assignments that you will never see again once you turn them in

200% sure that he is the worst professor of all time! this guy will make you hate accounting... first of all, you can't understand a word coming out of his mouth. he doesn't provide solutions to textbook problems... his exams take you 2+ hours to complete. DO NOT TAKE HIM, even if it's the only time available!!!

This guy is without a doubt, the worst professor/accountant in the world. he cant solve his own problems, when he gets 5 answers he says they are all right...unfortunatly none of mine were on the tests. in the begining, i thought people were just complainers. they wernt. even if you pass, you will learn nothing. Towson should be ashamed.

I took Cost Accounting with Maloo and right off the bat you cant understand a word he says. He is always late to class and never follows his syllabus and throws last minute stuff in the test and leaves you with literally no time to study. He makes you write a 10 page paper which saves most peoples grades. He is no help outside of class either.

Accent aside, he's such a poor communicator. He adds chapters to the test and doesn't tell you until the class before the test. He returns about 50% of tests and assignements after he grades them. About 5 of us still don't have our Spring 2008 grade posted! He says not to worry about it and we're his best students and everything will be fine. HA!

Dr. Maloo is certainly a nice man who knows his subject but he is not the best at getting that across to students. Not enough time was spent on problems. Exams cover entirely too much material. They should probably break up this course into 3 semesters like Intermediate. The paper probably saved me but wasn't much fun to do.

Maloo is by far the most difficult professor to understand that i have ever had. His class is tough but fair. If you pay attention and attend class, do the readings and such u will pass. I would look for other options for the class but he isnt that bad just u cannot hear/understand his speaking.

This guy is awful. He doesn't follow the syllabus, you are left guessing what will be covered week after week. The problems on the exam are not gone over in detail in class....Maloo is out of touch with student needs. He doesn't go over the requirements for the term paper. Stay away from this guy!...he is no longer fit to teach.

As an Accounting major and an A-student, I can safely say that Maloo is one of the worst teachers you can get for this class. He does not give you any help in understanding the concepts.. The tests are photocopies of random acct textbook questions and contain conceptual questions that you probably won't have learned.

Worst teacher ever if u are trying 2 learn anything. The exams r nothing like what he tells u 2 study. I honestly can't tell u how I got a C in this class b/c I was getting 38's on the exams...but I'm not complaining at all. He's a nice guy & offers xtra credit that has nothing 2 do w/his lectures, but DO THE XTRA CREDIT!!! It helped me!

Worst professor I have ever had. He must be tenured or else he would have been fired a long time ago. He says to ask any questions that you have, then belittle's you when you ask them. IMPOSSIBLE to understand and have a conversation with. I can't put it into words how bad of a professor he is. Whatever you do, PLEASE DON'T TAKE MALOO!

Probably one of the worst profesors to have. He does not teach the material on the test and the book does not provide the correct format for the test neither. He does not answer the questions you ask him, he will make up his own. If you want to actually learn I suggest not taking him.

Maloo is the worst teacher to ever teach accounting in history. SERIOUSLY!!! i got a A in the class because i went to every class and asked dumb questions. I got a 40 out of 200 and he gave me a B on the test. Pretty much suck up to him and talk to him and you will get a A. Also no matter what tell him you are a accounting major he likes that

very nice man and will try to help you if you come after class. Not very good and teaching though. Makes things more confusing. No point in coming to class because you teach yourself from the textbook. If you don't need any help with accounting then take it, if you need help find another class. I got an A so it's possible.. I studied for hours.

This man is the worst teacher in the accounting department. He doesn't speak English. The only class I have ever had to drop. Avoid this man like the plague he is a horrible teacher. It is outrageous that this man was ever given a job to begin with. You can study for hours and hours and still fail because he sucks!
