Dr. Michael is an amazing professor. Although sometimes he might make a mistake, he's apt to fix it and apologizes for the confusion. I strongly encourage going to his office hours, because he'll notice you care and always make sure you know what you're doing. Having him as a professor really helped me have confidence in my math abilities.

If you enjoy math you should enjoy this class. The tests can be challenging but he had a review before almost every test so that makes it a little be easier. A lot of homework but it was all online and fairly easy.

Few math profs understand the differences between algebra, aljazeera, and aljarreau. Prof Michael does. After taking his class I can solve polynomial equations while wearing a cheesy chapeau and keeping up with events from the middle East.

Overall the class was not that bad except the homework is extremely tedious and in my opinion is harder than the exams. One thing i did not like about the class is that the final is 20 percent of the grade. This proff does not use blackboard that is a huge negative other than that im sure his class is easier compared to others.

Great educator; patient and clear. A great professor for the mathematically challenged. I started off poorly and he went out of his way to find me a tutor, when the tutoring lab said none were available. If you need to know stats for a research method class I recommend this professor as his style is to teach you relevant and applicable information.
