amazing person. he cares about you and how you learn. He went above and beyond. Extremely intelligent. He is a tough marker BUT he edits your essays for you. He literally gave me my thesis. He gives you so many chances to excel. He is an amazing person, i recommend him. HE IS CRAZY FOR GRAMMAR! other than that he is wonderful!!!!!

Lectures are consistently interesting and offer significant insight. Marc pays fine attention to detail. Quizzes are quite simple and marking is fair. You will be rewarded for seeking help, especially on essays. Readings may be extensive some weeks, but they are generally fascinating and provocative. Overall, a great class and wonderful professor.

Good: 3 cheap texts, he has a list serv so you don't have to participate in class vocally. If you do the readings, you will do fine in his class. Bad: Bi-Weekly quizzes, mandatory participation...... overall i think he was a good teacher. He was always available for help if you need it. Very interesting and social topics. I would recommend him

He is brilliant and so approachable. Has high expectations but will meet you half way. Very open to answering personal questions. Fantastic guy, though strict. If you like to skip don't take his class! (Also..SO MUCH READING.)
