Took the summer course online, NH & NE Historical Sites, never met her in person but over email she came off as completely smug and overall I was not impressed. One of those teachers who you are not allowed to have a different opinion than theirs. Didn't answer compeletly one of my emails, long story short set me back 2 weeks.In person better maybe

Dr. Blaine, Is a great professor! Very hard on papers though. Very strict on them and expects a lot out of her students, however, this is one of her best traits. She catches mistakes that the WRC will not. She is very helpful and will revise your paper for you! This is a great help! She also very nice and goes above and beyond to help any and all!

Great teacher, I have taken some of her classes as electives just because she is the professor. She knows her stuff and is very helpful. Very strict on attendance though. Prepare to take pages and pages of notes as well.

Intelligent, but she tends to teach right out of the book, thus making attendance rather unnecessary; it's up to you whether or not this is a positive attribute. Grades based nearly entirely upon a handful of written tests, which some fellow students found difficult. Heavily lecture based.
