Honestly, the class is boring. The subject is interesting and he is a nice professor. He is a tuff grader, and the reading is kind of difficult but he doesn't force you to read it. His tests aren't that difficult just have to study and he gives quizzes every week, which is a downer but helps boost up your grade.

complete teddy bear. i'd go to the class to see what he would do. overwhelmingly nice. he a little unclear sometimes, but tries his hardest to explain the topic. very approachable. just because he's a very nice man, don't think that the class is an easy a. you have to pay attention. he also put the lecture notes online which is very helpful

the 1st half is easy but after midterm everything goes so fast & very confusing. Everything he says & gives out r all in his website so no need for note taking. The exames r straight out from the study sheet, all u need to do it study from it then u can pass the course. btw he's a funny guy & very flexible professor.

The first half of the quarter was, plainly put, Descartes101. Dude has weird Freudian love for Descartes. Otherwise, adorable man. Not particularly clear in his explanations, but adorably flustered often. Wears beat-up red Chuck Taylors, has pictures of his family on his class website. What a guy. Worth it just to watch his mannerisms.

Such a nice man! I have absolutley no interest in Philosophy, so sometimes the class is a bit much for me ("How do we know we're not dreaming now?"), but otherwise, it's not too hard to do well, and he'll help you with anything.
