At the beginning of the term I did not enjoy Dr. Majewski as a professor. He often went through material too fast and skipped over a lot of things. As the term progressed I began to see that he genuinely does care about his students and wants them to excel. I am honoured to have been in the last class he taught and I hope he has a great retirement.

Deciding to take OCHEM with this Polish chap was the worst academic decision I have ever made in my life. Trying to learn all the concepts was equivalent to ripping off a band-aid as hard as you can for three long excruciatingly painful months. I almost quit, but I wasnt going to let CHEM 250 win.

Dr. Majewsky is very knowledgable in his field. Knows his stuff like the back of his hand. Yes he expects you to show up on time, but really is just a respectful thing to do. Has a good sense of humor. Glosses over stuff thats word for word in the textbook, so be prepared to do some reading. Overall great prof.

Dr. Majewski wasn't a terrible prof, but wasn't that good either. DON'T BE LATE! Seriously, he stops class to tell whoever is late to not be late, which was annoying. His explanations are alright, although I found the textbook to be more helpful. Does give you access to old exams, which was nice. Is also fairly willing to help if you have questions

If you can avoid this prof, do so. The midtern was fair if you studied and followed the text. The final was absolutely terrible. Things i didnt even know i thought i was in the wrong final, and i went to every lecture... Read the textbook or get a different prof. His way of explaining things are hard to understand. He does NOT know how to teach.

SOOOO knowledgeable about his field, and quite willing to help you out. He has an accent, but I never found I had a problem with it. He's tough, but if you're willing to put the work in, he'll do what he can to help you do your best.

He tries to joke around in class but you really have to pay attention to understand him. If you don't listen to well you won't understand him at all. He knows his stuff and he tries to get you to succeed.

Some of these ratings are so harsh! He's really not bad at all. Ya he does call people out for being late, so just don't be late, it's a pretty simple fix. I'd be pissed if someone stomped right in front of me as I was talking too. He provides a lot of useful information about why the stuff you're learning is important, and he is very knowledgable!

Very hard to understand, notes are all over the place. I eventually started to bring in my text just to know what the hell we were covering at that time. I swear, it was the only thing that managed to keep me somewhat informed. He does know his stuff though, and if you do follow along with the text, you'll do fine.

Very thick accent, hard to understand. My notes suck in this class because he doesnt provide any coherent or sufficient notes. Just scribbles on the board. Locks you out of class, and he is not afraid to insult you. This course is challenging enough already, he makes it worse.

He was hard to understand and arrogant. He starts class early and if you're a few mins late he locks the door and threatens to give the whole class a quiz. Makes students feel very small and continually insults the Canadian educations system.
